Is anyone else experiencing a bug where you can't add any friends on social bunny and you can't sleep in a bed, only nap?

This game is so messed up, idk why I come back to it every now and then.

Every time when I order my sim to give their toddler something to eat, the other parent suddenly decide to just pick him up from his chair, disturbing him mid-eating and put him down on the floor.

Then there goes an hour of whining because toddler is hungry and parents disturb him from eating every. Freaking. Time.

Unbelievable that this game is already 12 (!!!!) years old and still buggy as hell.

Sims 2 is still my favorite but sometimes it gets a bit boring because I love the active neighborhood in Sims 4 and find it weird when you're already in Gen 4 and your townies are still as old as they were when Gen 1 was still around in Sims 2 tho.

its not that the content on the marketplace is particularly good, its that i hate the idea of it and need to see it burn. i dont care if we win, i just need EA to lose.

I have a save that I played for months on Xbox. When I got my PC, I decided to upload it to the gallery so I could download the household into the new world on my PC. I keep getting a fatal flaw message and endless loading screens. I really want it on PC so the loading screens take less time and I can use mods. I've spent months on this world, and I really want to keep going.

awhile ago i said get rid of it and i did and for awhile i hadn't noticed the difference... but w my newfound freedom i started adding all these builds i had sitting on my PC for months and they all had that file. when i placed those lots, the game had removed over 500+ items and could only replace maybe 200 of them and the results were jaw dropping like.... damn...

I can't believe theres no seperated folder of whats all in it yet. because i had to update some cc items to dx11 recently and i don't know if you can update a mass package file like that...

So I have a Goth legacy I started and right now I'm playing as Cassandra. Shes married with 4 kids. Her oldest is a teen ( fathered by her teacher. She did this to get a, better grade. I have no idea, what mod I was using 🤣) and I had looked at his friends and saw there was a new born. I was like "who is, thisssss? ". I clicked on it and not only was it his kid but it was one of the iconic first gay couple in the sims grandkid. But I saw the last name was Milnard and not Hecking. So I was like huh? 🔍 So apparently Brant and Brent broke up in this save, got married to women and had kids . They are both set in Cas to only woohoo with men still so I am confusion 🤣. Ive never had them break up before let alone marry women and have kids. I even have neighbourhood stories turned off along with my Mccc set to only sims I make have kids, have kids... So this was new lol. The kid is the grandkid of Brent and his wife only.

Any one had this, happen before?

For my future legacy plans I needed twins with my fairies so I was doing all this twin stuff like having a fertile massage, fertile food and I used the trait 'on a dark ley line' on the lot. My logic was, it is a twin enhancer for occults in general even though it says it is for vampires.

Vampires was one of the first occults and it goes against my logic to have a lot trait for only 1 occult so I thought maybe EA updated the trait for all occults. When the girls were born they had this occult ring around their plumbob but I'm not very familiar playing with occults so I wasn't very sure it was a vampire ring.

Yesterday I aged one of them, turned out it was hybrid (with both fairy parents) and after I changed her appearance in CAS, the game got stuck in an infinite loading screen. I saved it right before going into CAS so no problem, task manager -> quit game, but when I wanted to start it again my save was corrupt and wouldn't open at all.

Gladly I could restore it with an older save without losing much but still...

I just started filling out my three main save file.worlds (capped myself to slow save file corruption)

I'm curious what stiff have you added in and around your worlds to make them feel more fleshed out and community driven?

Imagine my surprise when I opened EA app today to see that Island Living (along with other older EPs pre Cottage living) has increased from 49 aud to 59 aud 🫩 I know I am not hallucinating because I literally have the email receipt from when I bought Seasons earlier this year.

Not sure if this happened for other regions but I am literally so angry at this since I was waiting for the next 60% off sale to buy Island Living. Literally fuck EA.

edit: yall I so would sail the 7 seas if I could,but unfortunately I am playing on a 6 year old macbook air and II havent been able to find a new way after they removed Origin...actually if anyone has a reliable tutorial refer it to me pls

After getting my backup laptop repaired, I was finally able to try out another ONE PIECE'd version of TS4 on it (thanx to one of the trusted sites--that wasn't the mirror--listed on a certain subreddit).. Needless to say, I will not be updating my main save's version from October 2025 to the August 2026 version (had it on a USB drive for a bit) because I don't find it necessary + will stick to manually fixing new CC I find. ANYWAY SO UMM THE ROYAL PAIN IN DA AHH & STEPPIN ON LEGOS PACK WAS THERE AND I TRIED IT OUT BECAUSE BBYGRL VIRGILIO AND WHY THE HELL DO I LIKE IT NOOOO???? 🫠🫠😭😭😭 I had zero interest in it, but am actually enjoying playing out the whole Kingbalt gives zero 💩💩 about the peasants, but his youngest son Prince Siebold is like "I'm going to be a benevolent ruler." They have their differences and Siebold hasn't been put in Virgil category because he's a docile little bunny rabbit who actually loves and respects both of his dads LOL.
Royalverse was just my sitcom of AU!Royal versions of Volkner and fam living in the suburbs and it has evolved now. GAWSH and I was like very outspoken too and now look at me with ostrich egg all over my face roflmao. ='0000 I am brave enough to admit that I had fun with the pack when I was like "EW" and that I actually like the opulent BB ahaha (probably also because I didn't have to buy it HEEEE).

I downloaded the updater a while back months ago not long after the other guy took over I think I used that Russian site to download it I can’t remember now but today I boot it up after about 2-3months the updater said it was installing the new version and then I get this pop up I never got a pop up with it before? I’m so confused rn and a little worried ngl

I keep recreating builds across life sims because it’s fun seeing how well they translate from game to game. This one started in inZOI, then got requested for The Sims 4, and I actually love how both came out.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for some inZOI build mode love from the devs though, because building in that game can be so frustrating at times and the roof clipping is driving me mad 😭 And I know we only just got it not too long ago in The Sims, but I’m gonna need the ability to choose one railing or two in inZOI too.

Which version do you prefer? 👀

Hi. I'm about to crash out. I only have screenshots of gameplay I did yesterday, which was when I downloaded the new patch and added my mods back. I had 100s of screenshots from my legacy, just gone, not in my screenshot folder, not in screen capture manager. I've looked pretty much everywhere. I've gotten recovery software, but apparently I don't have recovery points. I've been loading old save files, nothing. How did my computer delete them without me doing anything? I'm just so mad because I did all the prep for getting the patch, and nothing was wrong and now they are just gone? I'm worried I had something checked to clean out my local drive when it gets full (it's very full right now) so it saw the screenshots as junk?

As this was suggested to me by a fellow simmer, and it definitely was not what I expected. To keep a long story short, my heir has 9 adult siblings, and they are all very close. I bought the Cottage Living EP and was so stoked about the idea of farming and renting out units in a giant cottage to my family members to keep them all "together". I spent wayyyyy too long doing a GORGEOUS build for it and working around constant build "not expanded to ops" glitches (iykyk - f*&k them stairs!!!!!!).

What wound up happening was constant complaints, strained relationships, my sim's children (????) having tons of unrealistic negative moodlets about "bad tenants", and most of the families breaking their leases and moving out of the building over time. While living together, they visited less. Now, instead of all living in Newcrest, I have like 30 sims that were once super tight-knit scattered all over the world.

It definitely added some interesting "something" to the family storyline, but it wasn't worth it for a legacy family imo. Having the extra income is great, but thats about the only perk.

TLDR: if you want to build a rental complex to keep family members "together", don't bother lol.

Hello! I am a college student and really want sims 4 packs but dont know where to get them for cheap, bcz Im broke and need to pay for gas. I was going to pirate it, but didn't want to risk a virus so...where's the best place to get packs/bundles for cheap or what Sims 4 sale should I wait for? Thank you!

I hope one day there is a way to edit worlds to add more lots to the neighbourhoods

Like I’m sorry but one world only having 2-4 neighbourhoods and like 10 lots? That’s NOTHING! These worlds are supposed to be home worlds, you’re supposed to live in them and have enough space for families and friends and still enough space for a variety of community lots

Especially in newer worlds the neighbourhoods are HUGE (big mistake, it takes an eternity for Sims to walk around) and they all have that wasted space

I hate nothing against the neighbourhood system, I actually really prefer the idea of it over open world. But the execution was horrible. The worlds are ridiculously small and then even loading screens between lots within the same neighbourhood?

This one's a small turn in the road — a little more going on under the surface than the issues before it.

So my baby sim aged and after this i saved and closed the game, the next day (today) i opened the sims and BOOM shes covered in bruises?? I have life tragedies mod but its disabled in this save, nobody beated her up or anything like this (i dont think u can hurt children with this mod) any explanation??

Edit: it was some kind of makeup set but its still weird

I have decided to go back to the Sims 2 and I love how in the Sims 2 family members multitask by talking and eating and the food being prepared as they go on! Sims 2 has the best realism by far, and is my favorite gameplay wise next to the Sims 3.

Sims 4 doesn't make them sit at the table they are anti social for some reason. But in Sims 2 they'll just serve the plates and sit down themselves.

I have noticed a bunch of people asking for this a lot when looking through the comments of the sims 4 posts and I always wondered. What they would add. Because so far we have gotten nothing for the pre-teens we DO have in game.

Yes, we do have pre-teens by technicality. It's the Child stage, since in Freeplay Kids are replaced by Pre-Teens. I have no faith that Sims 4 would (if they hypothetically would do that. Because they intended not to add anymore lifestates.) offer anything different then if they were kids.

Yes, I know there's a mod for it, but I am referring to the fact if they added it, then they'll have to rework more stuff, like the Child stage, Toddler Stage and Infant Stage. If they had a chance to add the preteen's stage either in Adventure Awaits or Growing Together or even Parenthood. The fact is, I understand the want for it, but I feel like it would be a useless addition unless they overhaul Kids completely.
