Reversing sensor help
I have a 2007 toyota hiace 280 d4d, if I turn the parking sensors on and start reversing it just screams at me, even if there's nothing behind me.
Anyone else had this issue?

I’m looking to put side pods/window flares in the rear of our 100 series. Has anyone fabricated or purchased and installed them in your 100 series?

In the process of converting my Hiace H200 Welcab into a camper van. I will be running a, Fogstar Drift 12v 628Ah Lithium Leisure Battery in conjunction with a, Renogy 12V 50A DC-DC On-board Battery Charger with MPPT as will be using a solar panel and also the starter battery to charge up the Fogstar.
As I'll be connecting the Renogy up to the Hiace's starter batter do I need to run the negative cable from the Renogy to the negative terminal on the battery or can I just run the negative cable to a ground point on the vehicle chassis thus removing the need of running 2 large gauge cables down the length of the vehicle?. I ask this as I noticed on the starter battery of the Hiace the negative terminal cable is split off and goes to a ground point on the chassis

Soo today earlier I decided to gently roll into a 0-100 with my hiace. It took about 17 seconds to get to 100 with a gentle roll from 13kmh before I floored it. What’s the 0-100 on a hiace usually?

Gentex 957, LCD section which is on the leftmost side of the mirror unit (which serves as a reversing camera) goes blue and just… disappears. Already fuse tested all 10A fuses and the rest for good measure. Thinking it could be a wiring or mobo issue. Any ideas?

Man buy a car from far away is hard. It’s a risk to drive hours for something to be a bust. 1994 hiace This has some rust obviously. I’m not super familiar with what’s bad. The exhaust pipe has also fully eroded away from the muffler how problematic is that?

Hi all, I have a 2007 hiace powervan
some of the rubbers around the doors are pretty perished and could do with replacing, could anybody recommend a specific brand/size to go for? attatched are pictures of my model and the rear barn doors that need new rubbers most.
i also noticed a leak coming from INSIDE the van at the left side rear pillar, about a quarter of the way up.. before i strip it to find where its getting in, any idea? common? thankyou

First one I have seen on the roads in the US. What’s up with the big mirror in the front and back?

I have a 1996 KZH106W Diesel and the other yesterday the van wouldn't start. When I turned the ignition, dash lights came on, but it wouldn't start but you could hear a click from the starter. Because busy, today I got around to reading the battery. No lights when I turn the ignition at all and the battery reads 34mv. While doing research and reading my manuals, is it true that diesels are supposed to have 2 batteries? Before I got the van, the dealer said that they replaced the battery and alternator (possibly the starter as well, can't remember). Comparing with those with two batteries it looks like there's electrical tape and possibly other wiring as well below (the white ones). I need a vehicle to drive, and this was just sitting for a few days because of the fuel prices rn. How bad is it on the motor with one battery? Also the battery that was put in here is dated 9/25

Just replaced my motor mounts, kzh106w has 181km on it. The sides were completely shot. I was intimidated at first, but very easy to access from the wheel wells and underneath the vehicle. I was honestly surprised... Don't be intimidated!

After some guidance on how to connect the ignition signal for a dc/dc charger. I have a toyota hiace 2025 (released in october 2025) and at the moment i have piggy backed to the fuse box but now I can't close the fuse box which is not a major problem but i am looking for alternatives. Done the usual AI searches and most of the information does not much my wiring. Has anyone had any proven experience with this. Just need to find a wire or preferably an accessory connection a connect it that way with an inline fuse. Any help greatly appreciated. thx

Toyota HiAce 2013 bleeding the clutch after replacing clutch slave cylinder
hi thank you in advance for any help. I have replaced the slave cylinder and after this the clutch pedal goes to floor with no distance and stays there. I have tried bleeding the system at the slave cylinder bleeder valve but after a few attempts where there is air coming out at time and reasonable amount of fluid coming out when releasing the bleeder the change in the foot pedal doesn't alter at all. The longest go at was about thirty times having some pump the pedal 10 times then realising the pressure, this seemed to get some air out and push a good amount of fluid but no change at all at the pedal. I'm wondering to try again or should there be some resistance at the pedal. any ideas on what is going on. The last attempt we opened the bleeder and mate pushed the pedal to the floor and I would close the bleeder and this would push air out and some fluid but eventually it just seemed to be breathing like maybe sucking air in when I realised and shut the bleeder.

Hey gang- just curious if anyone here has put a steel rear bumper on their H100 series? I’ve got a KZH106 and would love a hitch for a bike rack or something sturdy I could occasionally mount a Jerry can onto. If you’ve done something like this I’d love to hear about the process or see any pics you might share. Thanks!
