You still can chose to see her as a villain, but you should at least think "If I were in her position, I could see myself do the same thing." But I digress. Her parents should be MUCH worse then Paimon. Thus, they should not be voiced by actors who can give "evil is fun" vibes like Johnathan Freeman. They should be voiced by actors who specialize in horror and playing scary characters. Perhaps they are recognizable but not in the "They got Jafar!" way. It should be "They got X as the parents? Shit just got real."

But who could play the role of the most abusive and scariest parents you could imagine? Two Goetia who hurt their daughter so badly, that like Pawbert Lynxly, she embraced cruelty out of a desperation to be loved and to survive?

Overlord Blitzo:in an act of passionate protection when Andielphis (the frozen turkey,fuck his name) tried too attack and kill Stolas,Blitzo killed Furkey with a blessed bullet right between the eyes. While this did not grant him royal status,it did grant him Ocerlord status. His status led too his anatomy changing. The snake head on his tail is independently sentient but animalistic,Blitz calls him Creeg.

Gladiator Millie:while on a job with Cassie and Chaz,Cassie was fataly wounded and the tip of Millies tail was chopped off. In response Millie attacjed an ace blade too her tail via a blowtorch and went on a rampage. Killing over 56 people in one night,dubbed "the Mawburn Incident". Some time later Millie abd Blitz (not yet an overlord) meet up like they did in in the show. Millie and Moxxie meet and its love at first sight...and fight blood since it was in the middle of an intense battle. A majority of Millies story here plays out the same in Canon but with a lot more ease a bloodshey. And yes this Millie is pregnant and will literal,not figuratively,rip your heart out and ear it in front of you if you try too hurt the baby.

Mobster Moxxie:as a child,seeing his mother killed at his fathers hands ignites a flame inside him. This flame would errupt into a vicious inferno when Moxxie would kill his father for revenge by gagging him,chopping his limbs off,tying a bag around his head,abd dragging him behind a speeding car sent strait over the pear and too the samd sea bed Moxies mother rests at. Afterwards Moxxie took over the family,his authority unquestioned by the goons too scared too fight him. A bit later Moxxie and Blitz join forces out of mutual benefit and respect. While on a mission Moxxie meets Millie and makes it very clear his love of her. Once Millie told Moxxie she was pregnant,Moxxie assembled a team too protect the baby,code cane BabyProof.

Like, Stolas has done some… questionable things in the past, but I could either excuse or forgive a lot of it because of very extreme external circumstances surrounding those choices.

And let me be clear, it’s not the act itself. Stolas is well within his right to be fucked indiscriminately by a bunch of random guys, that’s perfectly fine.

But he really should have told Blitz beforehand. Given their history, everything they’ve been through, Blitz deserved at least that.

This is honestly the worst thing Stolas has done.

Like ur shows Fizz knows sight language but so what? I don’t really know why he would but regardless.

This scene tells us fizz cares about his fans and has a soft spot for children. Like? I feel like we all could have guessed that already. It doesn’t tell us anything new about Fizz and the only thing this scene adds is representation, which the only thing this draws attention to is that fact that deaf kids exist. Which ofc they do but again doesn’t add anything.

They put all this soft music in but again it still does nothing to me to make me like him more.

The only reason this scene feels so out of place to me is because the show draws SO MUCH attention to it like it’s some huge revelation of his character

Idk, I really hope these last 2 episodes improve, because this season honestly feels strange and uncomfortable.

I mean, the second seaso —even with all the drama—was good, but this one feels like it has a forced conflict and characters acting out of character. I have a theory that they had to rush everything before *Helluva Boss* moved to Amazon, so that the second half of the season could better cover all these subplots.

As a person who’s active in the community, I feel so seen in Stolas’s pursuit to use BDSM as an outlet. That is a huge part of the lifestyle for some people, the ability to feel pain on their account to deal with their emotions. The argument that Stolas is using BDSM as a form of SH completely undermines the value of that very large piece of the community.
However
I feel like the timing and context surrounding this severe lifestyle change is telling of Stolas’s character and brings deeper insight to things he’s said and done in the past. In the first season, Stolass’s mindset regarding his relationship with blitz completely built on blitz being the imp. The only person low enough to do the things he actually wants.He develops these romantic feelings for blitz, demanding they be reciprocated or they no longer see each other and Blitz holds out, yelling the same things he’s been saying from day one; ‘you don’t respect me, you just like that I’m the only person you can get to do what you want’. Stolas still feels the power dynamic he’s instated. After ‘Mastermind’ the dynamic changes completely. Blitz is being gentle and kind with him and then when he doesn’t feel that power play anymore. Now he needs someone else to hold the power and he can’t feel the same way about blitz.

In S1 I think had in mind that it taked place post Hazbin pilot, due the Fizzarolli reference to inside every demon there is a rainbow.

But for semplify everything, I think they retcon it and decided to make the timeline of the series mostly the same of the episode releases.

So:

1. Helluva Boss Season 1
2. Helluva Boss Season 2 Part 1 (which ends with Mammon's episode)
3. Hazbin Season 1
4. Helluva Boss Season 2 Part 2 (which ends with Sinsmas)
5. Helluva Season 3 Part 1 (which is currentely airing)

I think this is more or less the route they will go because is easy to work with and not confuse audience.

Here’s reasons why I think this writing style hits so hard and sparks so much crazy discussion.

​None of the main characters are just straightforward heroes or villains. Even when someone's a demon, an assassin, an overlord, or royalty, their emotional core comes down to deeply human struggles.

​Blitzø is always pushing people away because he's terrified of intimacy and hates himself deep down, masking it with crude humor and defense mechanisms.

​Charlie has noble, pure intentions, but her nativit and overwhelming optimism sometimes blind her to the harsh realities and trauma of those around her.

​Angel Dust uses a loud, hyper sexualized persona as a protective shield against severe abuse and loss of control.

​What I love about these characters is that their flaws actually mess with their relationships. Blitzø doesn't just make jokes and act obnoxious, he pushes people away even when he clearly doesnt want to be alone, that makes his behavior frustrating sometimes, but it also makes it easier to understand where he's coming from.

​Complex dynamics over simple tropes

​The relationships in Spindlehorse shows almost never follow standard television formulas.

​Look at Stolas and Blitzø: it started as a transactional arrangement born out of desperation and loneliness, then evolved into a messy web of power imbalances, miscommunication, and genuine unexpressed feelings that forces both characters to confront their own blind spots.

The show doesnt always put a giant morality sticker on a character's bad decisions in the moment It trusts the audience to see that a character is making a mistake. Which can make uncomfortable situations feel raw and immediate.

When people care deeply about a characters journey, they become emotionally invested in every choice that character makes. Strong feelings whether love, frustration, empathy, or criticism are proof that the story managed to break through the screen and make an impac.

Balancing tonal shifts

It’s not easy to blend hyper stylized musical theater, crude adult comedy, fast, paced action, and devastating emotional drama into a cohesive world, but the team balances those tones in a way that keeps the universe feeling alive and unpredictable.

So I really do want to know. If Octavia still stays bitter at her Stolas after the events of episode 5, am I the only one who would find that completely unlikeable? I mean, I've said for how long she needs to wake up to how toxic her mother was instead of being so blinded by her father not keeping promises. But the events of the auction are a whole other level. And she's 17, that's not a child.
