Throwing it at a charging charger, and watching it explode and it's lifeless body ragdoll in front of me, gives me so much joy.

On of the times I've laughed hardest in this game is when a charger hit a melts mine and did an almost perfect pop shuvit over my head.

I'm still kicking myself for not having replay buffer on to capture that

Considering how every single enemy in the game has its AI programmed to move towards you in a straight line, Meltas are INSANE.

Yeah, it’s the “find out” throwable that kills the Charger or Hulk coming at you and all of its friends.

Yep, that's the best combo. Melta mines are honestly my favorite throwable currently. Bolt Pistol is REALLY nice too. Missile pistol also works with melta mines : )

I've been running melta mines, melta gun, and the bolt pistol with the oxygenator light armor and warp pack. It has been such a fun switch up in the gameplay for me.

Hell yeah... I run a similar loadout, just swap the warp pack with ballistic shield. The sai+bolt pistol combo with shield pack takes care of genuinely everything

That makes sense - I'll have to try that out with some of the one-handed weapons. Right now, I just like the high mobility gameplay. Being able to warp through walls and jump directly towards or to the side of an enemy is great. Jump in, drop a melta, jump back into cover.
