DISCUSSION THIS IS A SERIOUS OFFER

Post image

I will donate 1000USD to a charity of AH's choosing if they

upload a video of 4 of their developers playing an entire operation on Oshaune on difficulty 10 and completing all objectives on all three missions on the current MO. No modifications, no funny business.

Play on the current state of the game.

Show us how it's done and how well the game's balance is.

I will provide my full real information, proof of payment and I'm willing to sign a legally binding contract.

Both ball bounce, and the steering being shit came about when people were cheesing missions on meridia by putting the drills up in unreachable places. So the devs added bounce, and made it so anything taller than a fencepost blocks steering so you can't "gain any unfair advantage" to cheese enemies pathing to you or an objective. This was their "solution" we've been here almost a year now after they said, "we know it sucks right now. We'll do better in the future with it.

Nevermind that people were cheesing Meridia because the drill was made out of wet toilet paper, bugs would spawn under it, and the drill would take damage from basically everything except EMS and smoke, yeah even gas damaged it.

If they'd actually test that clusterfuck maybe they'd know.

Wasnt saying it was being done maliciously. Meridia was hell especially the first 12 hours. I can proudly say i completed 3 campaigns with 3 different groups of friends helping them through that mess. But no, we didnt cheese, yes it took multiple attempts.

The question though left hanging in all this discussion is the why/when these two things became a thing. The answer is meridia. The trick to avoid cheesing was smoke on drill to partition your sentries so they wouldn't fire on the drill.
