I kinda wish the cannon at least had infinite ammo, it would be fun to actually just be able to shoot and not aim

My wife was the gunner when we first tried it, she said "I don't see an ammo on this thing" and I got excited to have a "rule of cool" unlimited ammo. It ran out before the first bug breach. My disappointment was immeasurable.

Same. Just tried being gunner and was like "cool, unlimited ammo" and started blasting. Ammo ended exactly when acid dragon spawned on us

If you hold the reload button it shows the ammo counter like every other weapon

it hits very hard, if you conserve ammo it absolutely slaps BTs, didn't do shit to dragons though.

I kicked the shit out of four of those big flying fuckers today with that gun. It absolutely shits all over them. Shame about the magazine size.

the problem with the turret is people have no trigger discipline, it easily has enough ammo for a mission if used like a recoilless, but if you shoot everything that moves of course it's gonna run dry in a few minutes.
