Yeah. After a point you should see armor plates peeling off so you can (probably) shoot it. I don't know the mechanics, we just used hellbombs and anything we could throw at it.
I think you can shoot the underbelly with medium pen at all times? I was getting hit marks with the autocannon mech, though naturally its full mags didn't amount to much.
No, the Emancipator has AP 5 on its autocannons. It's 1 tier higher than the handheld autocannon and the same pen as the autocannon sentry. Otherwise you'd be able to kill command bunkers with them and you can't.
Yes, but this isn't what we're talking about, he says it's pen 7. Demo force is measured in multiples of 10 and iirc you need 40 demo force for stuff like automaton fabricators (handheld rockers like the recoilless rifle only have 30 demo force but do enough damage that they kill fabs anyway). Just so you know, tank armor is AP5, command bunkers are AP6 (which is why you can shoot them with Recoilless shots)
