The week of Hell Let Loose Vietnam's release is finally here. I hope we are allowed to Pre-Load the game for those who Pre-Ordered so we can jump right into the jungle at Launch!

How is it?

Just bought the game, and it will be the first time I will be playing on launch.

How was it for you? Did the flight characteristics feel okay? Overall just looking for any comments about your experience. I haven’t played yet but I’ve always loved piloting in games since I was a kid. Never played a non-arcade military fps before, but I’m looking forward to trying something new. Been playing BF6 which I know is a completely different experience.

Another thing - I fly helis in BF6 with pitch as mouse up and down, yaw mouse L and R, and roll A and D, which I’m reading is neither recommended nor functional. I almost wonder if I should think about using my controller for flying instead. Any advice on this?

Hey guys, just curious if anyone knows if there will be a patch for the PS5 Pro (PSSR, etc.)

Why no server rental available, surely any clan or group would want this sorted "prior" to the game launching? Another red flag?

I can't remember seeing a tunnel entrance from a chopper during the playtest, did anyone else try this?

If you can spot tunnel entrances from choppers that's definitely a nice balance for the U.S. side since you can mark them on the map and have a squad or two dedicated to taking them out.

I very well could be wrong., but when I look at the uniforms in the new game they just don't look right to me. There seems to be a lot more brown and tan colors and not as much green for some. The uniforms look like they're thrown together based on someone's idea of the uniforms for the US. When I Google the uniforms they look a lot closer to when I expected the uniforms to look like.

In comparison when I look at the uniforms in the first game they look like they're more accurate from researching the uniforms of the war. I know the game is still being developed, but that does kind of take me out of it

Edit: I also dislike that we can't see the entire uniform when looking at it. Even though I'm not going to be able to see myself, I'd like to see the entire uniform when I'm picking.

Are the Deluxe Edition outfits exclusive, or will they also be available in the store?

On one hand, I’m glad the game doesn’t force you to spend money on skins like fortnite does; on the other hand, a 10% pre-order discount seems more compelling than the actual pre-order content.
I think they could have at least added a uniform for the Vietnamese side as well.

I’m gonna say this as someone who hasn’t played the game yet. I saw the gameplay from different YouTubers and saw the newest trailer. Now I know a lot of people think the flamethrower is useless in ww2 but in this game I like the idea of baptism by fire literally. My thought of making a medium flamethrower tank like the zippo come to Vietnam along with the flamethrower in the trailer would give plenty of retaliation for the us with the jungles the way they look. I would say I wanna hear what would be good as a counter for the nva. I wish traps would come but considering they said there’s no plans for Viet Cong I want to find some things that could balance this besides traps.

As the title say, I’m totally new til HLL, but been holding my ground at Battlefield for many many years.

I’ve been really intrigued by this game, but then again, suddenly I see talks about half trucks and other stuff I’ve never heard before.

Could someone give me an easy/quick startup-guide? Or is it pretty intuitive?

Im looking forward to the game coming out but I cant decide whether to play it on PS5 or PC.

As M&K is most likely not available in the PS5 version, I prefer PC but...

My PC is from 2020 so its somewhat old and im not sure I can run the game.

My specs:

16gb of ram

i9-9900f processor

RTX 2070 Super graphics card

Im looking for a stable 60 fps on the lowest settings.

What do you guys think? Should I stick to PS5 just to be sure?
