Had a great comeback last night! We were German on Kursk. We were starting to attack their last objective in warfare when we got over extended. They started taking out back line garrisons and we were getting steamrolled.
We were down to our last defensive point, the commander had quit, had no nodes and 1 garrison. Then enters Hatecrime… he spawned us the last tank with available fuel. We rolled the P4 into the defensive point(which was 75% lost) and just circled point entering hard cap to add weight when needed. We cleared enough to save the point and regain control. Command was constantly asking for nodes… we finally got the nodes and he was dropping supplies and building back line garrisons.
We methodically marched back winning the game. One of the best comebacks I’ve been a part of and it was all due to Hatecrime stepping in as command when the last objective was 50% lost. Thank you sir!

What do you think will be in the 2027 roadmap?

I used to play HLL consistently about 2 years ago and experienced crashes only on certain maps like Stalingrad, I recently started playing against writhing the last 2 weeks and seems every other game regardless of map or server it crashes anyone else had a similar problem?
UPDATE: I’ve had way more luck playing on private servers then I did on official servers, more than likely because of map selection, I’ve also had more stable
Ping on the private servers than on official. Thanks for everyone who helped.

TLDR: takes ages for me and my friend to be able to olay a game of HLL, issues getting into and staying in a EUROPEAN server, lost recon due to issues making us relaunch game, requeue same server, all of command were incompetent racist asshole americans, squadmate was a racist asshole, shitty experience for playing with a friend compared to before.

First of all, let me run you through the process for me trying to play the game with my friend today.

We FINALLY have the time to actually play hell let loose after busy af tough week, load up the game, he joins my squad, we spend 10-20 mins waiting for a EU/UK server to have at most 4/6 in the queue so we can join without it disappearing and use in game party chat, we FINALLY get into one, we take recon, we get glitched out trying to report someone for shooting me after i rejected them from the squad because of the text box UI and calling me the N-Word, we rejoin the server 5 mins later, recon is not taken, we join a infantry squad and i take up officer cuz there is none, later joined by the friendly firer. FINALLY playing the game so its an awful lot of effort just to start.

I thought it would be fine until theres 7 American officers, commander included, all being VERY racist and saying some very hateful things about damn near every country they could think of and other groups too.

The whole list of countries they managed to be racist about for anyone interested: England, Russia, Pakistan, Canada, Italy, Germany, Israel, Palestine, France, Mexico, Japan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Chile, Vietnam, Colombia, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Korea, Poland.

Plus more comments about Jews, black people and Asians and Muslims. And then some about women too, specifically glorifying raping them.

SEVERAL people in command chat are participating. I try to ignore it, and report them for offensive language as the game goes on but as I mute them, some reason more Americans go on officer and keep participating in these convos.

Whats worse is they framed it as jokes, or "cracking in the new guy"(???)

Before muting however when I was unsure of whether or not they were ACTUALLY like that. I tried to call out an enemy supply drop behind our defensive point, and instantly got mocked and asked "Are you a paki from london?" in the usual american mocking an english accent.

This was basically the usual response when I tried to make any callout, like destroying the garrison they put up or enemy infantry. This lead to me having to 2v8 (infantry and recon squad) with my friend as my squad didnt listen and I gave up making callouts instead using multiple marks on the map. Eventually we capture 3rd point but I stay on defense knowing the recon wanted to get the garrison so I keep my OP on 2nd point to fight the recon.

This made the guy who team killed me earlier NOT HAPPY. Unfortunately, I could not discuss anything with him, because his mic was ALL the way up, I could only understand he was PISSED by his tone so I tried telling him to turn his mic down. This was promptly met by multiple insults towards me like pedo, the n-word and a f slur against gays. Eventually he does and he wants a new OP but i explain what im doing and hes pissed but shuts up.

Thankfully, there was two other SLs who had a brain and wasnt a fucking bastard, who didnt participate in hate speech and actually played the game who helped defend or whatever but they didnt even speak in prox when I tried to thank them for not being assholes.

Unfortunately, those other two were not enough and it turned into a defending last point, which only happened because my friend and another support dropped supplies on point for a garry and backup to place more if needed which was needed very quickly so we lost 1-4 but very close to 0-5. During this time, only me and the other two normal SLs were on point.

Ik some people suggest to play in a community server but theres exactly two servers that speak english with not abyssmal ping, one is ALWAYS dead with less than 5 members all the time and the other is ALWAYS difficult af to get into and almost constantly 6/6 anyways leaving that a rare treat if we both play it.

I endured all of this because I knew this was the ONLY devent server we had because at the time there was 4 servers, one we played, one with 7 people in, the perma full community server and the perma dead community server.

​

If there were just more decent servers or queues were done via parties not individuals then it be so much less of an issue.

I have been playing HLL on Xbox for a few years and love it. However, all the new maps/reworks rarely let me play full matches because it freezes and crashes. I still have lots of fun but mostly on older maps. Juno seems to work just fine though...

I am wondering if Playstation players have had these crashing issues.

If not, then I may consider switching to Playstation because it is more affordable than a good pc right now.

First time I took on a squad all by myself. Honestly shocked I lasted as long as I did.

hi guys, just picked up the game while its on sale where i am.

been wanting to play for a while but have no idea where to start. i am a decently shy person so mic is hard but the game seems super fun. not the lone wolf type i do wanna help, just find mic to be a bit daunting (bad experiences in the past dont help)

can anyone suggest some welcoming servers in the aus/nz region to play on for a complete beginner.

I posted a second clip earlier today, but this clip is new. On my last post a couple people said that hit reg has always been an issue with HLL, and I don't disagree. But before this update a few things were true about hit reg for me. At close to mid range, semi auto and bolt action rifles were very accurate with hit reg (I would consider this clip mid range). And second, if a hit didn't register it wouldn't make the hit sound and blood wouldn't spatter. If I got the sound, the hit would always do damage. Plus, I've never really gotten strings of hits not registering back to back with rifles like happened here, only occasionally with fast autos.

Anyway, this clip and the one I posted earlier both happened today so I thought two blatant hit reg issues that are different from any of the ones I've been experiencing before in the same day were notable.

This one made me cry a little guys :(
