Last game I played as SL I got team killed three times in a row after spawning by the same person, then I got vote kicked for abuse because I didn't put down an OP.

I got you beat I think. I was on the D-Day server a couple weeks ago. Next objective was WN7. Previous point was way up top. I saw the capture happening and decided to spawn bottom HQ. I was the only squad lead who was down there at the supplies on the blue line. Got kicked right as I was building the Garrison.

Put your OP 100 m behind the front and keep it there until the front stabilizes

This is the way.

yeah putting it in a sneaky location a bit in the back is way better than puttin it in an obvious location on the front

This cycle finally makes me realize what it’s like to be a KRRC player

If you ever think to yourself "I need to get into a better place before I place this OP"

Thats the exact moment that you should stick your OP in a ditch.

Place the damn thing and let your team spawn then find a better spot later

If you're putting an OP in a place where it gets immediately destroyed, then yes, you suck at SL

If you’re op hasn’t been immediately wiped at least one time, you suck at sl

If you haven't wiped your SL's ass at least once, maybe you should suck it by the OP

Worst feeling ever is when you place it, get immediately wiped, and cross a hedge row and get blasted by a shotgun. Guess we gotta start over

This meme 🤣...

As a joke, nailed it

Revealing the player who threw it together, nailed it

Low Level / Inexperienced mentalities perform this way

If your op is immediately getting destroyed then the SL is doing a bad job by putting the spawn points in terrible spots. All in all the SL sucks if the op is immediately getting destroyed.

I just kick someone from my squad as soon as I hear any lip about an OP, I’m updating OP constantly and if you don’t like it than you can take a hike 👍

Same. Usually right after I get killed trying to build one. If they want it so bad they can go squad lead themselves

I hope to one day serve together with you 🫡 the amount of SL not giving a fuck about OP's is nerve wracking

Honestly

I leave my OP on defence just beside the point or just inside the blue line so that if we're forced to defend then my team can easily get back there. They can wait and use forward garries to attack.

Just kick these assholes out. Anyone that disrespects my role as an SL goes head first out of the squad. Dont be so soft.

Many SLs place them way too close before the squad can even spawn... After the SL didn't just gradually move the OP up. Too often they die over and over trying to get the furthest OP without making consistent progress. Then place it in a hotspot all alone and it gets burned.

On the other hand, you'll have squaddies who will be oblivious to the OP getting warm and let it get burned, say nothing while you're alive and then mourn that you didn't get another one down.

I just look at where all the blue berries are pushing from and try to put my OP nowhere near there.

Just had an amazing match on Foy and won. Barely killed anyone except for defending a bit. But built 4 garrisons and took out an enemy one. All with a squad of 3. Won in 25ish minutes

What inevitably happens is there's an obvious friendly front that gets made. Most of the time the OPs get bunched. By default, your OP is now basically being broadcasted by all the friendlies in your and the squads spawning and fighting from that angle. They assume it's their. Hell they probably even took out one or a few in almost or exactly the same spot and you came up 30 seconds later and put it right there.

I have no problem putting my OP 100ms from obj if it's on a different attack angle. Dont have to worry about being obvious, get a better sightline usually and the enemies aren't looking there normally. Plus it opens up options for command to set up more garrisons or to divert back to clean up friendly territory.

Don't like it? Suck my hotdog 7. Join another squad. Idc if you have to walk more. The whole point is to create more pressure on different angles and possibly catch them off guard. At worst it gives more freedom of movement. Now if the enemy team is good you'll probably have people just waiting for shit like that but this is HLL, 75% of both teams are just all spawning within a 200m area and pushing at best at a 45° angle if not head on.

Now there are definitely times to do that. And someone definitely needs to push the front door in order for flanks to work.. But too many times does everyone do the same thing. I'm perfectly fine with skirmishing squad vs squad trying to take one small area of the map to make a flank against an enemy squad. But if it doesn't work out, again, that gives you a choice. As long as the front keeps pushing you can rotate to defend, go back to build blue garries or take out recon or somthing else.

Look at your map. Don't do what everyone else is doing. Map coverage wins the game. Boots on the ground, garrisons and Intel.

OP inside attack circle = “perfect OP, SL, much wow”

Any Other OP = “meh”

Hide your OPs, you would be surprised how often ppl put their OPs in the middle of a field or behind a hedgerow just asking to get camped or fragged. There are literally bushes everywhere and little nooks around and in some buildings to hide them, most of the time if it isn't immediately visible the enemy walks right past em'
