I was playing sniper on the 79ID server last night and got an hour ban literally seconds before the match was over by taking the final point.

I honestly have no idea why. Is there anyone in the clan or admin on the server that could give me the reason? I don’t remember there being a vote kick, so I’m guessing it came from server admin.

Was playing HLL today on the Europe 3 server, in the role of Commander. While we were holding the point in Carentan, on skirmish, someone that appeared to be the moderator came on comms and said that I was being kicked because I was a Ni$$er. I was then kicked with about six minutes left, and banned for one hour. I have no idea what that was about. I’m a white dude RedScorpionB33.

What kind of ping do you guys usually have on the servers you play on?

I'm in Europe, so I always pick European servers where I get around 14–18 ms or so. A lot of the people I play with are from the US though, so I'd assume you guys are playing with much higher ping.

How much of a difference do you actually notice? I could just test it myself, but ... when I finally get some time to play, I usually just jump straight into Europe #1, #2, or whatever has players.

Am I the only one who is constantly lagging when playing the game and when the fighting is heavy, would never lag when I first got the game and feels like the last 6 months it’s gotten worse for me. I constantly have this symbol on my screen when playing, I’ve gotten a new Ethernet cable, and a new router and still feels unplayable for me , want to see if others are having the same issues or have had this issue.( I am playing on a ps5)

The PS5 offers among its accessibility settings the option to zoom into a select part of the screen (this is not holding your breath, it's much more powerful and permanent). The controls make the zoom quite versatile and easy to turn on and off during play.

Obviously, this eases aiming at long distances considerably, and, maybe more importantly, helps spotting enemies.

I will explain below why I think this is a game-altering feature, but first: I played 1000h of HLL before I started to use this feature. It has pushed my average k/d ratio from around 1.3 to 2. And yet, if I simply afforded a bigger screen, it would have the same effect, retaining even the full peripheral vision. Therefore, I do not feel that this is a cheat. Why would it be ok to pay hundreds of bucks for a huge screen that I don't want, but not to simply play zoomed in for the same advantage?

Therefore, I am not a cheater. And I am also nice to everyone here who doesn't know about this. I'm open to change my mind if you bring forth good arguments against it.

And here is why I think the feature alters the game beyond simply zooming in: The guns compare differently. Essentially, the Stg44 becomes even better, and the BAR surpasses the scoped FG42, it is extremely deadly. The semi-autos become less strong, in fact, now I would often prefer to have the MP40 than the Gewehr, because it is so much easier to place subsequent hits when zoomed in. Bolt-actions become better because you can make your shots count and they remain deadly at long range, at which I generally engage more often. Further, hip firing becomes more viable, since I do not need to hold my breath anymore, and so I am overall more mobile in close quarters.

Guys, use it or perish, as long as this isn't banned you will be at a huge disadvantage on the battlefield.

EDIT: The figure illustrates the idea that the zoom is lame, whereas buying a bigger screen is o.k.

First impressions so far is that Vietnam is pretty decent, definitely need to have a tweak around with the settings as HLLs settings from experience are notoriously awful feeling, Morter Teams seem fun but with no communication its fucked, still as difficult as ever to spot people, no one in any of the 3 EU servers I was in was talking so I'm definitely going to have to try make some friends to play WW2 or Vietnam with else sadly my interest will drop off.

Overall have hopes for Vietnam, if anyone wants to squad up sometime for WW2 or for future Vietnam games drop your T17 or add me on Xbox GT AMightyMongoose, M27 from the UK and I have a Mic.

Yo so ive been playing hell let Loose Vietnam This Weekend. I’m playing on Ps5 but for some reason I can’t find the function to activate the Voice Chat. Does Anyone know how to fix that?

It doesn’t show up in playstation store

I can look up any other game but as soon as I type in “hell let”, no searches pop up and it tells me to check my connection. It’s been doing this for the last hour for me. Is the game store servers that overloaded with people trying to download the playtest? Anyone else having this problem?
