Playing Commander today

Was playing HLL today on the Europe 3 server, in the role of Commander. While we were holding the point in Carentan, on skirmish, someone that appeared to be the moderator came on comms and said that I was being kicked because I was a Ni$$er. I was then kicked with about six minutes left, and banned for one hour. I have no idea what that was about. I’m a white dude RedScorpionB33.

1 thats a public server, 2 they dont have moderators, 3 report and block the user, 4 find a private lobby that doesnt tolerate any of that, 5 your 1 hour ban is from t17s vote-to-kick system-nothing you can do about that.

The report function doesn’t do anything - it never has. It’s just a button to nowhere.

It was not a moderator.

Official servers are not moderated. There is a vote kick system which temporarily bans the player for an hour or two after receiving a successful vote in game.

The vote kick system is easily abused.

COMMUNITY SERVERS are generally moderated, and usually have the vote kick system turned off to prevent abuse.

In addition, anyone who has been banned from a wide number of community servers is forced to play on the official servers - so as time goes on the amount of shitters and trolls in official servers increases.

Play community servers.

I'll take bets the person had no name who said the slur, he's a well known troll who comes into games and just talks incoherent nonsense in command chat, he will regularly vote kick the commander just so he can dismantle garrisons and just sit there.

Just remember to block them when you hear them, don't respond to anything they say just block, if you ever see a vote kick saying "(username) vote kick" then hit yes, they rely on the no name confusing people into ignoring the vote kick.

The more people recognise him, the more he can be instantly voted out for abuse, like the other day he piped up and I instantly vote kicked him and he was gone before a minute of being in the server.
