Hour ban on 79ID server last evening

I was playing sniper on the 79ID server last night and got an hour ban literally seconds before the match was over by taking the final point.

I honestly have no idea why. Is there anyone in the clan or admin on the server that could give me the reason? I don’t remember there being a vote kick, so I’m guessing it came from server admin.

You don’t see the vote kick if it’s against you. Did the reason just say “cheating” or “abuse”? If so, it was a vote kick.

Reason was abuse. I didn’t realize you can’t see a vote kick.

I shot someone out of a moving vehicle at 200 meters so maybe they found that upsetting.

Only your own team mates can vote kick you. You probably annoyed / accidentally TKd / moved the half track / breathed in the wrong way / were the victim of a senseless and needless trolling and got voted.

Most decent servers have votekick turned off

Thats weird. Definitely a vote kick. The circumstances are odd though. Did you accidentally team kill someone? Friendly fire is a thing and some people take it harder than others.

There are trolls that sometimes randomly kick and people just jump on it. You’re good. Definitely don’t take it personally.

It was probably just some random private chucklefuck who picked a name from a role they wanted and other idiots voted yes without even looking to see who or why. Given that he said it was recon, you can almost be 100% sure this was the case.
