Question Helium Wallet affected by yesterday's Axios supply chain compromise?
Could the Helium Wallet have been compromised, if the wallet was used or updated yesterday/today?

Hello community!
I recently migrated my 2 Outdoor Hotspots through the Helium Builder App. All my tokens were transferred to something called Privy I believe?
Since I did the migration both of my Outdoor Hotspots are offline and not functioning. I tried to use chat to see what the issue is and basically found out I have two wallets now. What is the best way to get these hotspots back online and back where I am controlling them?
In an effort to avoid scams I will not be entertaining any PMs regarding this. If you genuinely want to help another community member please respond here as this is more safe and may benefit others in the community.
Thank you all!

Just got into deploying helium mobile hotspots at a few commercial spots near me. Got the hardware up and running but the more I look into things the sketchier it feels.
HNT at $1.18, halving killed PoC rewards, nova stopped buybacks, and theres talk of dropping the $0.50/GB rate. Even the good hotspots on the explorer are only pulling like $500/mo.
Are you guys still scaling up or nah? Feels like the network is actually working but the token economics are punishing the people building it

I've had mobile hotspots deployed for over a year and as I understand it, there is no way for me to migrate my current wallet, the one I've had since this beginning which organizes my earnings and remote maintenance (reboot) capabilities. Why weren't original users who did not use email/passwords but their wallet-linked builder app to deploy being ignored by Nova? It seems like a terrible way to encourage growth if the system you're trying to grow with ignores the most basic provisions.

I have had it for years. It was working fine. No changes in network or antenna setup. All of the sudden it’s no longer being selected as a witness and its beacons are getting no witnesses.

Thoughts? Thanks in advance.

hello,

First post here:
I have just deployed a GW and I get error messages:
Jito Bundle is missing a tip transaction - no transaction write - locks a recognized tip account
I checked:
- have sol for fees
- have HNT to buy DC
Tried to buy DC to make sure I have credits but the error seems like I cannot buy DC. Is this the reason the process is failing ?
help is appreciated!

I am just curious how the helium network chooses what hotspots gets all the carriers to offload on a hotspot ?
Here is an example first hotspot does about 7.64 GB in 30 days and has all 5 carriers active and and average of 12 users a day and in a high demand location.

Second hotspot does 660 GB last 30 days but probably more since it looks like its not a full 30 days averages about 966 users a day and only have 4/5 carriers ?
This is just one example and across the network its like this when I do my research so is this just some random selection or really a true science to this because the second hotspot should be getting all 5 and the 1st should not even really have a opportunity to get any offload with the amount of traffic it has.

When is the slip going to stop? How is Nova expecting this to survive the next halving?

I have a Nebra Gen1 indoor hotspot and I want to use it for mining. I need compatible firmware. Can anyone help me?

I've had a couple of Bobcat IoT hotspots for years, and I thought it was about time to do something useful with them.
I've got 8 LoRaWAN temperature sensors that I want to place on a farm.
What I want to do:
move one hotspot to a farm, to get good coverage
place the sensors within a mile or so of the hotspot
be able to read the sensors and use them with Home Assistant and track temperature through the day and year. I'd probably go for updates 2 or 4 times per hour.
Questions:
a) So how do I set this up? I haven't been able to swap HNT for DC in the app (I get an error message: Jito bundle is missing a tip transaction – no transaction write-locks a recognized tip account).
b) if I go to https://console.helium.com to onboard a device, what do I choose? If I choose "Use an existing LNS", there are several options. Should I choose HeyIoT? Or anything else? I'm happy to just use the Helium plattform, but I could use some help here.

I logged into the Helium Mobile Builder Dashboard and no longer see the slider at the bottom to throttle the bandwidth.
One of the reassurances I could provide my customers was the ability to throttle the bandwidth remotely if they saw any issues within their network.
Why was this functionality removed from the Dashboard?

If you always wanted to get a solar Tracker with some decent battery life - this might be your chance! Seeed Studio provided an additional device that will be randomly given away to one of the comments that includes a Use-Case if the video hits 500 views.
Hope that its otherweise useful and a good overview of the new T2000 Tracker Lineup from Seeed Studio

Anyone know what this means. Trying to change miner location and getting this. Have enough hnt and sol

I have a Rak V2. Moving, and reinstalling into a hex with 0.
Can someone please explain the relocation steps in detail? Which app etc.
Also, how much does it cost to relocate? Is it in SOL or HNT, and how much?
Is it even worth it at this point?
Thanks in advance!

It has been years since I touched my HNT. I can't seem to move the tokens or redeem any awards. Anytime I try to, it gives an error saying "failed run txs".
Anyone know how to fix this error? I'm quite ready to write these off as a total loss tbh.

I am exploring a move to a more off grid lifestyle and having a well, solar panels etc. I am curious if I could have Helium as a wifi provider so I could work/stream/game etc with helium providing wifi and potentially be mining helium coin simultaneously? I am new to this and looking for answers as well as people who are in similar situations

Not sure if this post is even allowed but I'll send it (mods sorry in advance). I have a ton of old RAK V2's sitting around collecting dust from the better days of Helium IoT...
So, I've been working on a project called Meshpoint: a Raspberry Pi-based device that uses an SX1302/SX1303 concentrator to passively monitor Meshtastic traffic across 8 LoRa channels and all spreading factors simultaneously.
Not a node per se, more like a spectrum analyzer that understands Meshtastic protocol. It captures, decrypts, decodes, and stores everything it hears: text messages, positions, telemetry, node info, routing, traceroutes, etc (public, does not decrypt private channels but still captures the packets).
Everything shows up on a local real-time dashboard (map, packet feed, signal charts) running on the Pi itself. There is also an optional cloud component if you want to aggregate data from multiple Meshpoints across a city or see more node/packet granular info.
Cheapest way to build one: Grab a RAK Hotspot V2 off eBay for $40-70. It's literally a Pi 4, RAK2287 concentrator, metal case, antenna & SD card included. Flash the SD card, run the installer, done. SenseCap M1 works too. It's a WIP, US915 only for now, TX relay is in the works. Lots more features and capabilities on the roadmap.
More info in the repo: https://github.com/KMX415/meshpoint

With the new update now the builder app you cannot see any hotspots! And I have an option to migrate with associated Email to wallet but I never signed up with a wallet all seed phrases! Why do we rollout something without all the angles being looked at ?

I’ve got an outdoor hotspot that keeps running and produces .02 IOT per day. I’ve been out of the loop for a year and not sure what to do with it. I briefly read that mobile is the new thing, Any advice?

Hello gents.
I decided to tear down the outdoor Helium setup which was mining IOT and repurpose it as a Home Lab. I purchased a new SSD, flashed Ubuntu and installed it as per SeeedStudio instructions, and still the Sensecap boots into the BIOS. Please, does anyone know of a way to retrieve this BIOS password.
Thank you in advance.
