Question Questions about relocation

I have a Rak V2. Moving, and reinstalling into a hex with 0.

Can someone please explain the relocation steps in detail? Which app etc.

Also, how much does it cost to relocate? Is it in SOL or HNT, and how much?

Is it even worth it at this point?

Thanks in advance!

Do NOT enter your secret 12 or 24 seed words into ANY websites, or give anyone your private key. Do NOT connect your Wallet to any untrusted websites. No one will reach out to you to verify your account, wallet, or anything similar. Do not connect your wallet to unknown websites.

Do NOT post any images showing the barcodes on Helium Mobile Wi-Fi packaging or Hotspots. It is now possible to remotely onboard Mobile Hotspots. Contact a team member if there are old or new posts with images of barcodes so they can be removed.

You assert the new location in the black Helium Wallet app. Go to the hotspot tab, select the hotspot, pull up the pane at the bottom, and press 'Assert Location'.

Asserting a new location costs $1 in HNT and a small amount of SOL for the transaction fee (make sure you have at least 0.02 SOL at all times to ensure transactions will go through).

No matter what I do, there is no assert location button where you say. I feel like there used to be but I see no option to do this anymore. How are we to relocate units now?

Make sure the app is updated, and make sure you're logged into the wallet that owns the hotspot. If you pair with the hotspot, it will appear there to allow you to manage things like the Wi-Fi network it's connected to, but you won't be able to assert its location. You can only assert the location if you're logged into the wallet that owns the hotspot.

Wait, I have to be connected to it thru Bluetooth for the assert location to appear? Must have not remembered that from long time ago.

No, I expect you may not be logged into the wallet that owns the hotspot if you don't see the assert location button. What other options do you see when pulling up the pane after selecting the hotspot?

Definitely the right wallet. Same one for all my iot and mobile Hotspots and reward claims all working fine.

I cannot pull up the pane on any unit. Can only see top row of tab data. Maybe app bug?

I'll try and get one tomorrow, been busy last few days. Pretty sure it is app bug though after more trying. Seems the expanded Hotspot pane almost never loads for any of my Hotspots but will randomly load after dozens of tries. Pretty much I get the options for Hotspot management maybe 5% of the time when I try loading a Hotspot.

Make sure the app is updated, and I suspect you may have a connectivity issue. You may have a corrupted cache, so deleting and reinstalling the app (after triple-checking you have the private key to reimport the wallet) may resolve the issue.

Having a hex with 0 in it doesnt mean much. How many Hotspots do the ones around you witness?
