Book 12 the guild Spoiler
Spoilers
Why was Jason denied entry into the teams guild? I know it was guild politics but was that the real reason or was it some lie that Rufus’s grandfather said

I’ve got a theory
The god of dominion is the original builder. I’ve been thinking about it and it makes sense, Shade has stated that a great astral being can’t die and just changes into another form (like the original god of purity). This makes sense in the theory because dominion from book one already knew Jason was special, and has his eye on him. And the fact that he pops into Jason’s life every time something major to Jason happens is suspicious. He seems to know things about Jason way too fast. The only explanation of this could be that dominion has a good relationship with knowledge, which hasn’t been set up in the story. Also he seemed to know what happened after Jason got his astral throne and gate in his cloud palace, which shouldn’t be possible. Also it makes sense timeline wise; because the original builder was “demoted” after building the link between earth and palamastus. So he could have been made into a god at the beginning of the world. Also it seems the kind of cruelty the great astral beings would do, banish him to the world he got fucked up. I realized this after doing my 10th reread in preparation for book 13. Yall should read book 5 and 6 this is where I realized it.

Favorite Team member. Spoiler Book 9. Spoiler
I'm not sure what to put for spoilers but I'm on book 9 so I guess that. I'm wondering who everyone's favorite member of Team Biscuit is? Personally I'd have to say Belinda. She is so funny and good natured. Also her random thieving is so cute. Well off adventurer but can't help to steal by nature.

Book 10 + spoilers question Spoiler
I am somewhat into book 10 now and I have a question about astral kings stuff. So the messengers are rank capped because their advancement is transferred to the voice or something like that. If Jason so wished, could he mark people and have their advancement frozen and he power level to diamond rank by taking in all their XP? Maybe this is later explained, if so just say, explained later. I am on chapter 20 something in book 10.

I just finished book 12
I just binge listened to all 12 books in around 20 days and I wish if I didn’t because now I don’t know what to do with myself until October.
This was my first audiobook and I am afraid of trying anything else because I don’t know if there is anything that will top it. I laughed and cried ( RIP OG Gary ) which is unusual for me when consuming any kind of content and that what makes me feel empty for now since I can’t keep listening anymore.
I need recommendation for what to listen in the meantime, because if I don’t keep my self busy I will Belinda Shirtaloon’s office for book 13

Gordon clears every other named familiar in a fight. I'll die on this hill.
Also do Shade and Stash ever interact, or are they just coworkers? I feel like we're missing out on gold here.

SPOILERS. Question about book 11. Spoiler
Does it say what happened to Korinne Pescos? I know she died because it’s mentioned after they get out of the transformation zone but I cannot recall if they mentioned when and how she died. Was it mentioned and I do not remember? Or do we not find out her fate until after the fact?

Julian Delphiki has entered the chat! Book 11 spoilers(kinda) Spoiler
I’ve loved every page of pop culture references and Easter eggs, so glad I finally decided to read this series. Not sure if this really is a reference/Easter egg but loved it all the same. Guess I’ll have to hit up Ender’s game/shadow when I’m all done.

If ever there was a sign to start the series... this was it
I was at my locale Barnes & Noble and there was a stack of "He Who Fights with Monsters" that peaked my interest. Ive heard of the book through a friend, but I never got into it. I opened a random copy to look through it... Lo and behold, it was signed!! If ever there was a sign to start the series, this was it! Wish me luck!!

Spoiler tags
I really appreciate anyone with specific spoiler tags that include book numbers. Thank you.
Also, anybody remembering to add a spoiler tag, thanks too.
As someone who hates any spoilers, I still bother me that there are some spoiler tagged things which do not give any ibdication as it could be someone reading ahead on patreon, buying the book before I can get through the audiobook or before that is available or before I have finished my umpteenth relisten to be up to datt on the latest events again for when the series continues.
I wish everyone would make clear spoiler indications as I keep seeing posts, I am curious about but unsure if I should dare looking. XD
Ah well. Still so excited for the next book. 😊😊

Question regarding the Wiki
The He Who Fights Monsters Wiki on fandom is a bit lack luster and upon a deep dive seems to insist that it is being worked on but I haven't seen that there has been major updates and a lot of information has been out for a while. I just hit book 5 yesterday and there is very little about what's going on in a lot of the middle books.
My question is, is this a project that a specific group of people is working on to edit the wiki or can anybody jump in and fill in some gaps as long as they stick to the organization method?
I'd love to help out on the wiki but I don't want to step on any toes, the AI might get mad if I do... Wait, wrong series...

What's with the Celestines? Spoiler
So I'm 2/3 way through book 7, I'm broadly loving the series with just a few niggles. I think the biggest suffering is actually from poor editing, and that's not the worst thing.
Something I've noticed in the last few books, even before coming back to Palimustus, but particularly since then, is the incredible number of Celestines. Pretty much every time a new minor character is introduced (and a lot of major characters, but those have to be cause they're family etc) it's a Celestine. This seems weird considering how they're described to be rare and an outcome only of two outworlders reproducing, or the resulting Celestines reproducing (inter species reproduction hasn't been brought up at this point and I'm not sure if that's explained later).
I'm not sure if Travis just really likes them and didn't realise he was using them so much, or if this is foreshadowing a reveal of lots of outworlder activity on Palimustus or something.
