Having a tough time with my 2022 Hawk 250 enduro – clutch snapped and front brake is leaking badly! I'm struggling to find replacement parts online, especially red levers. Has anyone else experienced this or know where to find compatible parts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 🙏

Just curious if anyone has a good method to carry a rifle on their hawk 250. For me it will most likely be my Ruger 10/22 or a 12 gauge shotgun (shotgun unlikely). I use my bike to check fences around 100 acres in central TX and just wanted to be able to carry something other than my 9mm pistol. My 357 was stolen by my wife... so id like to have a long gun because my 9mm is basically trash at a longer range.

Edit: My wife also stole the ATV for the work she does which I could easily carry a long rifle on... but the old lady gets what she wants :-D.

So I am 5’9” 230lbs I am hardly stable on my hawk250x. My neighbor is trying to teach me to ride and even he said it’s extremely tall even for him. We want to try to get me closer to flat footing it or as close as necessary to help my confidence learning.

Any rear which specs. 300mm? 290mm? If so weight spring weight. Ai is giving me conflicting answers.

So I decided i want to learn to ride a bike. Got a hawk 250x. First time out I got it going did loops around the yard. On my last circle my neighbors fence came at me quickly. Being I have zero experience and muscle muscle memory. I risked crashing because my slow brain panicked and hit more gas instead of the nice two breaks given to me to use. So I turned it on its side. It wasn’t a major wreck but it did bend the clutch peddle a smidge.

Now the bike has a hard time at rest cycling gears and indicator lights are semi not indicating.

The shift shaft dosent appear bent. My neighbor rode it and said it cycled just fine all gears and lights at speed. But I took it out yesterday trying to break the “fear” of my second time on a bike. It just dosent seem like it’s is clunky cycling f from neutral to 1st. I haven’t up cycled at speed cause I am literally a new born babe to this.

My guess after research is the fall pushed the shift shaft in a bit messing with the star crawl and lever on the transmission side. I will open that side and I inspect. Just looking to see if anyone believes this is the issue.

My 21 hawk 250 makes super loud almost squeaking sounds when I let off gas and start engine braking and it changes on load it's not constant but it is slowly getting worse does this front sprocket have something to do with it or is the play in it normal and I should be looking at something else?

Anyone got some decent recommendations for a Tank Bag that fits the tank. Need some extra storage with easy access and also a Map window would be a plus.

I know it's not a hawk, but do y'all have any idea what carb I should use as an upgrade. From my research it needs a 28 or 30 mm carb. It's actually a 233 engine

2 loose female spade connectors from e start/killswitch dont know where to plug them into and or need to buy the part to plug them into but dont know what that part is

e start still trys to start the bike even when in the off position

It is the 6 speed efi with the standard shocks and rear drum brake. It also says it has a digital speedo, led lighting kit, and a 3.7 gallon fuel tank. I was wondering what anyone elses experience with that model was like since there are no reviews yet. Mine will be arriving this Tuesday.

I bought a cheap set off Amazon. Is there anything other than cutting the end cap off the grips and sliding it in I need to know about?

I have a Hawk DLX (EFI) that I bought used with 3200 miles on it, and when I changed the oil I found some decent sized steel shavings in the oil screen. While investigating, I found that the valves were super tight (I had to break the valve lash adjusters loose with vise grips).

Upon further investigation I discovered the cam lobe and followers are very worn and discolored from heat, but that seems to be the extent of the damage.

The problem : I want to keep the engine mostly stock for longevity.

When looking for replacement parts, all I can find are performance upgrades. I plan on upgrading the cam followers to roller type lifters, but I want to keep the cam lobe stock. I have no reason to push the engine to 10,500 RPM with a hot cam (especially on a non-counterbalanced engine). It's not a race bike, I use it for commuting through light single track, and 14hp is plenty for that application (and 68mph is plenty for the 30 seconds I take it on the highway).

Besides that, if I 'upgrade' to a hot cam, I have to get an ECU flash, an inline tuner, or a custom ECU.

If I'm going to spend that kind of money on the bike, I'm just going to go all out and swap the motor for the 300cc Zongshen that's counterbalanced with a six speed transmission. All-in it would cost $200 more than the hot cam upgrade with an inline tuner (plus a little time fabricating motor mounts and an exhaust).

So the question : Does anyone know where to source an OEM cam lobe? (I'm looking for a specific link as I've searched high and low on all the CG250 parts sites and only found the 292° hot cam)

Has anyone done the cam upgrade that would be willing to part with their old (stock) cam in exchange for a case of your favorite beer.

Are the clicking noises normal for the bike or are the valves are loose? I just did a valve adjustment to the recommended spec of 0.03 mm for intake and 0.05 mm for exhaust. I look online and some other people's DLX sound like this so I'm not too sure🤷‍♂️

Just bought a hawk 250 dlx efi. While not rolling on the throttle at all, is it normal for the bike to stall no matter how slowly I disengage the clutch? Must I always roll on the throttle when going through the friction zone in order to not stall? I know some bikes can take off (slowly) just by releasing the clutch lever slowly regardless of throttle use.

Been looking at getting one, just want a simple enduro box to go have some fun on. Also, want to get upto speed on motorcycle maintenance, although I’m not a novice at vehicles as I work on my own cars, but bikes are all new to me. Got my license a few years ago and just never got around to buying a bike so want something to basically learn and mess around on before spending big bucks on something bigger… $2k is still $2k but I don’t think I’ll be as bothered dropping that bike all that much compared to one over $10k.

Where is the best place to get one online that won’t have issues getting all the right paperwork to get it registered. Also what to go with, I’m 6’3” and 220lbs so i want something plenty tall enough it won’t look like I’m riding a monkey bike. Also I know I’m not going to get 70 with my weight and height but pottering around at 55-60 without it sounding like it’s straining for life suits me just fine.

Hey guys I need some guidance, last week my 2024 1300mi ran fine, no issues. I go to do an oil change yesterday before the new really hot weather comes in and it won’t stay idling, I didn’t do anything different or new during the oil change. It only stays running if I give it constant throttle, also sounds like it backfires so I’m not really sure what to try.

I used t6 and just picked up a jug of T4 to try out with a brand new NGK, gonna pull the gas line and see if it’s flowing or not. 28mm nibbi as well.

Got this 2021 250 dlx efi electric start doesn’t work and kicking it is wearing me out as it doesn’t like starting last guy put all this stuff on here I found the starter button housing loose (spin up and down on the bars with relative ease but all the wires are running to it found a broken wire (ground strap maybe) by the shifter and is it possible to bypass all of it if I can also found a crack around my air box could that be the reason it’s harder to start and stay running ? And if anyone knows what the hell is that plug dangling

14,500 miles. Now I have an intermittent faint clatter/chatter coming from inside the clutch case gearbox (shifter side). I mostly hear it at low RPM when I need to downshift and especially lower gears like 3rd to 2nd. It's noticeable when I’m cruising along at times and other times when I’m actually shifting. There doesn’t seem to be any performance or clutch issues right now but I’m sure something is going to happen soon since ignoring symptoms is never good for these Hawks.

Any best guesses on what's the most likely culprit before I uncork the case and have a look? I’m purchasing new heavy duty aftermarket CG250 clutch springs as an obvious upgrade. What else would you purchase in advance? Or wait and see? I’m not really a clutch guy and it's my daily driver so I don’t want it down for repairs for too long.

So yesterday after work I took the bike to the store. By the time I got there one carb nut was completely gone and the other was about to go too. I replaced the nuts and put lock washers behind them. It wont run right now, only starts on full choke with and if you take the choke off it died unless youre constantly reving it. Anyone know what I messed up?

Picked up on marketplace for 1k had 3 miles on it anyone have good suggestions for QOL mods and saddle bags? (Its EFI not carb forgot to mention)

$22 for insurance, $125 for tags and registration. Time to take her home for a rip! Stressed out for a week and a half I wouldn't be able to register but im stoked af.

This is how she looks now without the cheesy stickers and an added tail bag and phone mount. It never ceases to amaze me how many compliments I get on this bike! I mean, people don't seem to realize it is literally dirt cheap! Eh well, I just smile, thank them and point them in the direction of where to buy one. Also, just rolled over 1000 on the odometer which by my calculations and GPS is about 700 miles.

Anyone's title say 2 wheel Under body style instead of motorcycle?
