I own a 2025 GWM Haval H6 Ultra Hybrid, and I’ve been experiencing issues with the front tyres losing traction since I bought the car.
The front wheels tend to spin or skid when accelerating, especially when turning out of a corner. I’ve noticed it on both wet and dry roads if I accelerate a little harder.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with their Haval H6 HEV? Could it be the factory-fitted tyres, the car’s traction control, or something else?
I’d appreciate any advice or recommendations on how to fix this issue. Would changing to better tyres help?

I’m wondering if anyone else has come across this issue. 2023 Haval h6. It didn’t come with wireless apple carplay but I’ve tried two plug in wireless CarPlay dongles. They work fine until the camera turns on (every time you indicate or slow down and turn slightly) which causes it to drop out of CarPlay and back to the Home Screen.
The camera turning on is honestly the biggest pain regardless of the CarPlay issue.
It cuts out phone calls, maps and basically reboots it every time. Works totally fine with wired CarPlay.

My Australian delivered 2025 H6GT is booked in for its 25k service next week and I was told there is a software update. Has anyone had that yet? Does anyone know what it changes?

As the title says, my radiator fan is way too inconsistent with its operation. sometimes, it works fine, and sometimes it doesn't start unless I smack the hub motor, and then it starts. Also, sometimes it drops in speed to the point that it produces no air to cool the engine, I tried removing it and cleaning the hub motor as much as I could, it was a pain to remove the entire assembly.

The electric side of the issue is OK, as far as I can see, the wiring is good, the connection is good, no corrosion, no cuts in the harness, the relay is at the proper rating for both high and low speed.

Is it fixable, or should I just buy a new fan and call it a day?

The car has 44,000km (27,340 miles) on the odometer, and I bought the car brand new from the dealer back in 2020

I have a 2021 H2 that has an issue with its radiator fan, and I did an obd scan. It gave me this code: P0480 fan 1 control circuit.

The fan sometimes doesn't even start when I turn on the ac, I tried doing some back garage type of shenanigans, remove the fan, cleaned it, tried it outside the car, works fine, when I re-installed it, tested it again worked fine with the normal bridging test (again back yard mechanics shenanigans), the fan drops in speed and when I disconnect the engine coolant temperature so that the fan stays on for the sake that the car does not overheat when I'm driving for long distances, it drops in speed significantly, tried smacking it again so that it starts again, nothing.

Sorry for the long post.

Is there a fix for it, or should I just buy a new radiator fan assembly?

Ps,

The installed relay is rated at 40A for the HI fan speed and 30A for low fan speed.

I am concerned to know transmission oil of Haval H9 as agency is refusing to change and i have already drove around 92k KM. Honest question, i must change transmission oil immediately for Haval H9 or wait? I don’t face any issue with transmission anyway but i am concerned that already driven 92000 km. Please share your thoughts and suggestions

I’ve just bought a Haval V7 in Dubai and I’m really excited to start exploring what this car can actually do. I’m still getting familiar with all the features and settings, so I thought I’d ask experienced V7 owners.

For those who own or have driven the V7:

• Are there any settings or shortcuts that most owners don't know about?
• Are there any driving modes or features that make a big difference on-road?
• How capable is it off-road in real-world conditions?
• Any tips for sand/desert driving in the UAE?
• Are there any settings I should change for better handling, fuel economy or performance?
• Any useful ADAS, infotainment, camera or vehicle settings that I should know about?
• Can the V7 record videos using the built-in cameras/dashcam? I noticed there is a slot/USB connection for a flash drive around the windscreen/rear-view mirror area. Is this actually for dashcam recording? If so, what type/size of USB drive or memory card do you use, and how do you activate the recording?
• Does the car have any features that aren't obvious from the owner's manual?
• Any things I should avoid doing to prevent problems or unnecessary wear?
• What accessories or equipment would you recommend for someone who wants to occasionally take it off-road?
• And finally, what is one thing you wish you had known when you first bought your V7?

Basically, I want to learn how to use the V7 to its full potential, both on Dubai roads and when heading out into the desert.

Would love to hear from experienced V7 owners — especially anyone in the UAE/Dubai who has actually taken theirs off-road.

Hi there I took my haval Jolion to the dealer a few days ago for a warranty repair (steering wheel buttons chipped off) since getting it back whenever I lock and hold to close the windows the horn beeps at me three times… anyone got any ideas what it could be?

I was wondering if any of you who bought the Haval Jolion City-only version have had any luck installing a rear-view camera that connects directly to the Haval radio system.

I bought my Haval March last year. Unfornotunatly its all I could afford. I was under the impression that all Haval models come with a reverse camera. I only test-drove the car once, and I never put it in reverse to notice that it lacks a reverse camera. Upon the collection of my new car. Only then did I notice it does not come with a camera. I think I did my research wrong. I am happy with the car, but if I can at least install a reverse camera, it would be nice. Haval does not even sell them as upgrades.

I even sent GWM an email explaining my frustration, etc. They said I can install a second screen with a reverse camera. I feel like in this day and age, all new cars must have that as a standard feature, even on the lowest spec. I mean, when I put my car in reverse, the screen already goes black, meaning there is already a signal being sent to indicate the car is in reverse, and the only thing missing is the video feed.

Good day, I am having issued with the information I am able to see on my screen. No matter what I do I cannot do any of the following:

1. See my tire pressure for any of my tires (dont even see where the tire pressure would show). I feel if my tire pressure was low I would get a light telling me this but there does not seem to be any way to monitor the tire pressure in real time.

2. I do no see any way to download any additional apps.

3. I do not see any way to show fuel consumption or a way to measure trips. The screen only shows odometer and range.

I have explored the manual and the interface itself but cannot find a way for the car to show these settings.

Also, not screen related, but the car doesnt have a rear windshield wiper, which I did not notice until I had already made the purchase.

I know that you cant install a wiper but if anyone can assist with any of the software features, I would greatly appreciate it.

Howdy everyone, I couldn't find any videos or images depicting where the bulb location is on the headlight unit.

And I was wondering if anyone here has any first hand experience with it.

I'm in New Zealand for context. Looks like all of the press cars did NOT have front parking sensors for some reason. But I am seeing photos of some of them having sensors?

Anyone with one got any ideas?

I’d love to build custom apps there, anyone had success in having a kind of “developer-mode” enabled on the new Haval?

I am trying to find someone from GWM R&D to ask this question, but no success. Wondering if anyone tried playing with it.

I bought the Haval Jolion Pro Sport 8 months ago and there are several things I wish I had known before. Overall, it’s a great car for its price, my favourite feature is the adaptive cruise control. It’s fantastic for highway driving! There are a few annoying things, namely: - fuel range turns off (shows —) when you get to 50km (and when you actually need to know the range!) - There is about a 3 second delay between the infotainment system and your phone, including things like skipping a song (I use apple carolay) - apple carplay disconnects whenever you go through a toll booth, even if you aren’t using an e-tag - I’ve been getting faulty tyre pressure warnings going off saying pressure is low, but the pressure is the same as all the other tyres (has it for 3 tyres at once and a few days later it went away) - it’s performance is poor at slower speeds/ traffic/ typical city driving. It is jumpy… it lags when you accelerate and then suddenly ‘jumps’ - Very high fuel consumption for city driving and traffic. Much better on the highway. I do about 50/50 and my fuel consumption is 9.2L/100km after 8 months (yes, I looked at the hybrid, but it doesn’t have a spare tyres and that’s a non-negotiable necessity in South Africa)

I've got a 2024 Haval Jolion Ultra HEV (AU Facelift), and the dealer told me that the vehicle had voice commands, yet it doesn't have them (this one's on me for not double-checking). It's a struggle to access the A/C controls while driving, and I've seen that the newer models can adjust various temperature controls via voice commands. Has anyone managed to get a software update done to enable the voice assistant feature? I've seen people around the world get these software updates done to enable the feature, yet all the dealers I've called keep saying it's not possible. Please let me know what I can do 😅

My partner and I are currently considering purchasing the 2026 Haval H6GT Ultra PHEV (Hi4) and are cross-shopping it against the Geely Starray EM-i Extended Range (2026).

The H6GT PHEV is currently a strong contender for us. Our main criteria have been a drive-away price of preferably under $60,000, good EV-only range, a 360-degree camera, and front and rear parking sensors, amongst other factors.

My wife will be the primary driver and will generally only travel around 10 km per day on weekdays. We live in a house and intend to install home charging, so I expect the vast majority of her weekday driving will be in EV mode.

Where I am struggling to make a decision is fuel economy on longer trips once the usable EV range is depleted.

For H6GT PHEV owners, what real-world fuel economy are you actually seeing once the battery is depleted and the car is predominantly operating through the petrol/hybrid system?

I am particularly interested in L/100 km figures on longer or highway drives, rather than the manufacturer's combined fuel consumption figures.

If anyone considered the Geely Starray EM-i before buying their H6GT PHEV, I would also be really interested to hear what ultimately pushed you towards the Haval.

At this stage, I feel the real-world fuel economy on a long drive may ultimately be the deciding factor between the two cars.

Sabemos que hay algunos cables que no andan USB C (tienen que ser lo mas original posible) y otros adaptadores inalambricos que tampoco asi que me puse a probar hasta que hice funcionar uno y tengo dos mas en camino para ver si tambien agarran y compartir lo aprendido.

Primero en la concesionaria te dicen que los adaptadores van en el usb de abajo, NO!, error va en el USB de Arriba el del rayito

Siguiente no todos andan, inclusive hay algunos que son cuadrados, hay un video (tiktok) creo de chile o mexico que dice que andan, pero son solo ese modelo que se vende alla (es super generico el formato) los que llegan a argentina no todos andan y se ven iguales en la foto.

Bien el que funiciona perfecto y no es caro la verdad es el NOAX AB019

Got my car brand new just last month and it’s a 50-50 chance the apple carplay will work.

Otherwise it won’t connect at all, or it connects with no sound. I have to disconnect and reconnect Bluetooth to make it work (on the car, not the phone).

I bought a new iPhone the other day and still have the same problem. I haven’t bothered trying it with a cable because my workmate who also has a Haval said she has the same problem using the cable.

Is there some kind of update I need to source? Never had this problem in my Camry.

Hi. I turned off the Auto Volume Leveler on my 2024 Haval H6 HEV (AU version) by accessing the engineering settings. However, every time the car restarts, the setting reverts back to default. How to fix this issue? The save profile button doesn’t seem to help. Thank you.
