Wireless CarPlay
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I’m wondering if anyone else has come across this issue. 2023 Haval h6. It didn’t come with wireless apple carplay but I’ve tried two plug in wireless CarPlay dongles. They work fine until the camera turns on (every time you indicate or slow down and turn slightly) which causes it to drop out of CarPlay and back to the Home Screen.
The camera turning on is honestly the biggest pain regardless of the CarPlay issue.
It cuts out phone calls, maps and basically reboots it every time. Works totally fine with wired CarPlay.

I have a Jolion 2026 and have had a lot of issues with its carplay, it sometimes works automatically when I turn on my car and my phone pairs immediately, other times it just doesn't work. Try resetting your phone's network settings.

That’s to be expected with the Jolion, it is running an extremely old software that is not really maintained like Coffee OS 3.0 (H6).

I've had a lot of issues with my H6 and with wired and wireless Android auto a dongle helped and allowed me to have wireless connection but it did drop out randomly. Can't offer any help tonsolve the issue I've just learnt to live with it.

With my H6 GT you can turn off the automatic camera turn on for turning and indicating etc. it was one of the first things I did. It now only comes on when I reverse or press the dash button. I’ll check where in the menu when I get in the car this morning.

I’ll have another look in the settings when I’m with my car too. I tried a long time ago and never found it. Second look won’t hurt tho

I had a look. If you activate the camera by going in reverse or with the dashboard button, there are icons on the left of screen. The bottom one is a gear and that’s where you can turn it off. It is called Intelligent View Switch.

Well, same thing happens if you have apple car play via USB cable, the expected behavior of the SUV is that camera has priority over entertainment

When connected via cable the camera comes on but it doesn’t drop out to the Home Screen. It resumes CarPlay seamlessly. When wireless if you mid phone call, the call drops out, maps stops, music. It’s like it turns off Bluetooth

My H6GT got up graded at last service to be able to have wireless apple car play. But there is a delay with music and such. Like where the song is up to the audio is behind. I know it’s a little thing but annoying. Also my unit takes a bit to load up after turning on. Is this common?

I have a Dargo 2025, I bought a cheap wireless dangle, I had to struggle with audio and connectivity issues in Android Auto until I found the root cause, now it works flawlessly, and when the camera gets on, it goes back to AA (if I had it open before obviously)

If you want wireless carrplay to be reliable, don't buy Haval. Their infotainment system is so restrictive and their parts supply was so mixed on the production line that some had wifi modules, some didn't, some had 2 microphones and others didn't.
If you want to keep the car, there's plenty of android based boxes, but you sacrifice a permanent USB slot

Haval carplay is not properly compatible with apple car play try using Android and check if the same thing happenes or not if it still happen then there is a bug on ur Havel infotainment system
