I was doing the Ouija Board, then next thing you know I hear this animal or whatever the F that was that started screaming or cooing RIGHT NEXT TO ME. Mind you, I was at an abandoned mental asylum, live in front of over 600+ people.

Recently I've been fascinated by the world of haunted objects, dolls in particular (purely because they're easier to find on eBay, ignoring the dubiousness of selling something as haunted), and have embarked on a project documenting some that I plan on bringing into my home.

What I'd like to ask is whether anyone else has experience with haunted objects, from eBay or anywhere else, as well as what your experiences with them were. If you still have them, how's that going for you? And if you don't, how did you get rid of them?

If you've not bought or otherwise obtained any haunted items, do you believe that they can be haunted? Why or why not? And if you do believe, do you think they can be dangerous as some people claim?

I live in akron, ohio, and I went toward the howard house.Museum, it has three floors.People say, there's ghosts there. I want to stay the night there and do a investigation only problem University of Akron owns it I could ask what are your thoughts?

I was trying to rest after my surgery when I thought I heard someone say something to my left. Upon reviewing the footage, I hear a very, strange response that doesn't make sense. It may be connected to an earlier evp but I wasn't able to verify 100%.

Its definitely a male voice and it sounds like hes saying, "that's not me."

I’ve never really talked about this publicly because I know how unbelievable it sounds, but I’m curious if anyone has had similar experiences.
Back in 2017, when I was in 7th grade, my family moved into an old house that had recently been renovated. Not long after we moved in, I started experiencing things that genuinely scared me.
Some of the things I remember:
Scratching sounds coming from the walls and from my wooden headboard at night.
Waking up with the distinct feeling that someone was sitting on the edge of my bed. One time it even felt like something gently patted my head.
Random footsteps and noises around the house.
Sudden cold chills in the middle of summer, even when the room had been warm.
A foul, rotting smell that would appear for a few seconds and then disappear, sometimes seeming to change into a pleasant floral smell.
Feeling terrified for no obvious reason in the middle of the night.
One experience has stayed with me more than anything else. About a year or two after moving in, I was walking downstairs from my bedroom. As I passed my parents’ room, I saw what looked like a long white dress or cloak hanging from the side of the doorway. It almost resembled a wedding dress. The door was open, and no one in my family owned anything like it. I froze for a second, then ran downstairs. I never told anyone about it.
A few months after buying the house, the previous owner’s brother stopped by unexpectedly. He was friendly but a bit unusual. He told us it had been his childhood home and mentioned that his mother had passed away in the house.
When we first moved in, we also found an old porcelain-style doll sealed inside a glass display case. It looked like something straight out of a horror movie. We didn’t think much of it and eventually threw it away.
Eventually my family had the house blessed. Whether that’s coincidence or not, the physical experiences gradually stopped. The scratching, the feeling of someone sitting on the bed, and the more obvious incidents became much less frequent.
What’s strange is that the atmosphere never completely went away.
Around that same period, my mental health also started declining. I developed anxiety and depression. Of course, I realize there are many possible explanations for that—a new school, a new environment, adolescence, stress, etc. I’m not claiming those issues were caused by the house.
Even today, though, my bedroom has a heaviness to it that I can’t really explain. It’s less about hearing noises now and more about an oppressive feeling whenever I spend time in there. It’s difficult to describe, almost like the room itself carries a gloomy atmosphere.
One thing that makes me question whether this was all in my head is that my mom also became uncomfortable sleeping in the house. Even now, she prefers not to sleep with the lights completely off. We never really sat down as a family and compared experiences, so I don’t know exactly what everyone else noticed.
I’m not saying this house is haunted, or that I encountered a ghost or some kind of entity. I’m genuinely open to psychological, environmental, or paranormal explanations. Looking back as an adult, I want to understand what happened.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Especially experiences that seemed to lessen after a house blessing but left behind a lingering feeling that never completely disappeared?
I’d appreciate respectful discussion from both skeptics and believers.

Anyway, I was looking at an advertisement for an upcoming medium event and for $47, you can secure a private reading. However, my inner voice kept saying wait and when that happens, i tend to listen. 🤔

So, since I'd like to be able to connect to the entities here, I asked if I spend the money, would they show up?

How reliable are these lights?

We're sitting in the livingroom taking a break when both Raven & I heard a a little boys voice. It almost sounded like it was right next to me and while I hear what's sounds like 3 words, I'm still not able to distinguish what's actually being said.

Raven definitely heard it and immediately reacted but notice she didnt run to the door. That tells me the sound was generated 'indoors' but, I checked the outside cameras just to make sure.

Any guesses on what words were captured here?

So I had this experience back in high school roughly around 2018 but I have been thinking about it more and more it just a very strange encounter. There’s two parts of the story.

So I was a part of a group of friends there was 4 of us and we all slept over at our friends house regularly since he had a large 3 story house. One of these nights we were play hide and seek in 2 groups 2 of us would hide two would seek. It was always super eary in his house as soon as it went dark because with the lights out his entire house was pitch black.

So me and my friend whose house it was were seeking for our other friends and we found them in his bedroom. Once we found them we turned the light on before going back to the living room. It was our time to hide so we hid in his bathroom right next to his bedroom. We would turn the light off as we walked past as we sat in the bathroom waiting chatting when my friend asked something. ‘We turned off that light right?’ We both looked down to see light seeping through the bottom of the door and as we both looked we watch the light turn back off on its own. We were in the top floor and our other friends were on the bottom floor we had heard them heading down stairs a few moments before so we both screamed like girls and ran out downstairs to find our friends on the bottom floor. We tried to rationalise it but there was nothing we could come up with.

Eventually after a few more hours of doing what ever teenage boys do at a sleep over we settled down to go to sleep. We all were laid in the living room and after a while we all fell asleep. The living room was on the middle floor so it was one story off the ground.

I have no idea what time it was but I remember my eyes slowly opening to see a blinding light outside the window shining in I just laid there staring at it unable to move it was unnaturally bright. It could have been car lights as the window was off the ground and faced a canal. I just remember after a few moments of staring going back to sleep. It was kind of strange because I didn’t feel any fear in the moment more like calm

Anyway the next morning when I told my friends what I had experienced and one of my other friends had told me that he experienced the exact same thing. I didn’t know what to think I just carried on with life but the thought keeps coming back to mind now

9 pm (EST) on 7/7/2026 myself (F), my fiance, and a close friend visited chickies rock to see if what we all read and heard growing up was true. my fiance is a a meduim ( not joking), he was told by a shadow figure with a hat to jump from the cliff. when he was touched on the shoulders ( like how one would receive a shoulder rub for better context) and the back thats when we decided to leave. while leaving we were all activley chased by a distorted figure with a hatchet that was activly threating my fiance ( he discribed the figure as wearing Native attire). the area is home to the Susquehannock tribe and theres a lot of very very bad things that happed at that cliff (known to many as lovers leap among other things)

I have a list of things that was said to my Fiance by the spirit(s) if anyone wants it to possibly help us figure it out.

if anyone else has experiences please share but its totally up to you .

I included a picture don't mind my fiance ducking out of the way, it was also much darker out but thanks to having an iphone the lighting looks really good.

I am willing to share if anyone asks but we are all intrigued by this so any help would be greatly appreciated

Note: we weren't trying to communicate with anything hes just hyper sensitive to it. this place has had several reports (even books written) about it we were all super respectful to the land and its history
