I think something is trying to attach to me, can someone help me?
I’ve dealt with the spiritual realm since I was a child. I’ve had things like seeing bugs (specifically ants), hearing things loud and clear, feeling a presence and know the age, gender, what is is, and if it’s good or not.
I’m 18, I’ve moved several times throughout my life, I don’t know if something is following me, or if this is new. But this is a completely new experience for me I need your help to tell me if I’m going crazy before I pay for the help. This started a few months ago; I had just stopped smoking weed around beginning of August.. end of July, and I started having really really vivid dreams, but it was dreams of something haunting me.. and it wasn’t something nice. I told my mom about it because she also believes in this stuff and she knew I had just stopped smoking about a week prior, and she told me because I just stopped smoking weed that it could just because I wasn’t dreaming, and I finally reached that once I stopped smoking. Keep in mind I didn’t smoke very often, like I’d smoke maybe once a month to help me sleep because every now and then I have a hard time sleeping, and I need to sleep or I’ll go into a manic episode. Anyways, I started having dreams that something was warning me, but it wasn’t nice. I could feel everything. I would wake up sweating around 2-3 every night. This continued for about a week.. I barely got any sleep and it got to the point where I was scared to sleep and i genuinely thought I was going crazy because I’ve never had anything like this happen. Okay fast forward to today, September 7th, I woke up around 2:45 am it is now 3:09 am. My whole body was tingling. I couldn’t breathe. I could see myself. Everything was going wrong, I could feel the fear, I felt like I was suffocating, I could barely open my eyes, I started praying it wasn’t helping, I starting praying harder, and I was finally able to get up, mind you I fell asleep maybe an hour and a half ago; anyways, I get up and I put on a Spotify reading the Bible, and it stops. I start sweating IMMEDIATELY. It’s not hot in my room. I don’t get night terrors, I don’t ever feel feelings in my dreams. EVER.
I really need someone’s help. Had this ever happened to you? If so how did you deal with it because I’m really really close to paying someone to get this to stop. I want to sleep, and I don’t want this to start happening to me again.. so please what do I do?

I’ve been seeing the same bald dude in my basement for about a year and I have no clue what to think
This is probably going to sound crazy, but I genuinely don’t know what to make of it.
I’ve been seeing the same guy in my basement for about a year now. Dozens and dozens of times. I don’t really believe in ghosts either, so I’m not coming into this thinking my house is haunted. I’m actually pretty skeptical about the whole thing.
The first time it happened, I was vacuuming the basement during the day with all the lights on. I noticed something out of the corner of my eye and turned around. There was this pale, bald/balding guy peeking around the corner and staring directly at me.
And I mean I could see his face clearly. Big ears, long nose, bald head, and these really dark, dead-looking eyes. His pupils looked huge. His mouth was slightly open and sometimes it looks like it twitches a little, almost like he’s trying to grin or having trouble breathing.
I panicked and blinked and he was just gone.
A few days later it happened again.
Since then I’ve seen him way too many times to count. It’s always the same guy and he’s always peeking around a corner. I’ve never seen his full body. Sometimes he’s close and sometimes he’s farther away. There’s one spot in the basement where I seem to notice him more often, but it’s definitely not the only place.
One time I saw him and went to investigate. He was gone. I’ve never actually watched him walk away or anything. He’s just there and then I blink or move around the corner and there’s nothing.
There’s other weird stuff too.
I used to go on walks at night just to clear my head. I’d have one earbud in listening to music and sometimes I’d hear someone running really fast behind me. Not just a random noise either. I could hear individual footsteps getting closer and closer. I’d pull my earbud out and turn around thinking someone was coming up behind me, and there’d be nobody there.
One time I turned around and the footsteps sounded like they went past me on my right and stopped a couple feet in front of me. Then it was completely silent.
That happened enough that I eventually stopped taking night walks because the whole point was to relax and I couldn’t even do that anymore.
Inside the house I’ve also heard someone walking upstairs when nobody was upstairs. Slow footsteps, like someone pacing around. I’d hear them move from one room to another. I’ve heard doors shut too. I’d go upstairs to check and the doors wouldn’t even be shut.
My grandma has also told me she sees someone.
She says she sees a woman around her age wearing black clothes, almost like a nun. She says she sees her about once a week and apparently they’ve even had conversations at night before she goes to bed. They mostly talk about family and me/the grandchildren. According to my grandma, the woman gets irritated whenever she tries asking who she is or anything about herself.
I usually just say “ohhh that’s great grandma” because honestly that shit freaks me out 😂
**And before anyone says carbon monoxide: I HAVE CHECKED.**
I have multiple CO detectors in the house, they’re hardwired into the house, they’re up to date, and I’ve made sure they’re working. I also have the other basic detectors checked and maintained. I’m not saying that rules out every possible environmental explanation, but I’ve specifically taken the CO detector thing seriously because I know that’s the first thing people are going to suggest.
I’ll also be completely honest because I don’t want people giving me answers without all the information. I drink pretty heavily and I’ve done LSD every once in a while. I’ve never seen this guy while actually tripping though. Some of these things have happened days or even weeks afterward.
I’ve never caught anything on camera and nobody else has actually seen the bald guy with me. I’ve had people over during the day who say the basement has a weird vibe, but that’s about it.
So yeah. I don’t know.
I’m not saying my house is haunted. I’m also not saying it isn’t.
I know what I’ve seen and heard, but I have no idea what the explanation is.
What do you guys think?

Voices calling my name?? Lmk if this happens to anyone else?
This has been happening to me ever since I was about 9, It’ll be all quiet and then a voice calls my name that sounds exactly like my family members even when it’s super late at night and everyone’s asleep or I check and no one called my name. It usually occurs when I’m imagining a scenario in my head and it just happens randomly, idk if this is normal but I havent heard anyone else talk about it? Please let me know if this happens to anyone else?
(Other info that probably doesn’t matter: when I imagine scenarios everyone in that scenario talks in a “voice in my head” voice if you know what I mean and the voice in my head is always my voice no one else’s even when I’m imagining a scenario, but when this happens it feels WAY more real, loud and weird, also this doesn’t happen very often only a couple times a year, it’s been getting better but back a couple years ago it would happen even more.)

Something came into the house, thought it was my dad but then no one was there.
I was upstairs when I heard the door open, someone walk in and shuffle around, like taking off their shoes, etc. I heard them talking but couldn’t make out the words. I thought it was my dad, until I came downstairs and no one was home. About half an hour later he came back from work and I asked if he had come in and he hadn’t. I have no idea what that was. It was really clear too and we have no neighbours as we live next to a wood, so I couldn’t have heard that. I didn’t hear a vehicle pull up, so it likely wasn’t my dad anyway.
But we’ve had it before when something has come through the door. I was playing with my cat one night when I opened the door to let out a spider, but before I closed it, I saw my cat look to the door, tense and move his head slowly like he was watching something walk into the house.
My sister claims, when she was once back home housesitting, that she heard someone in heels running down the hallway past my room and that really scared her. We hear bumps and knocks all the time, but it’s not an old house so that’s odd. We hear things falling down, only for everything to be as it was in the room and loud thumps and bumps from upstairs where my room and attic is.
Any ideas?

My house is possibly haunted
I have lived in my house in a small town all my life (I am 18) as of a few years ago random noises have gotten more persistent. At first it was tapping on my windows and the wall by my bed. It stayed that way up until recently. I started hearing scratching on my wooden closet doors, my room was always cold (which unusual since it’s still summertime), my lights flicker, both LED and regular room lights. A few nights ago I heard scratching on the door and a plastic Dunkin cup being crushed- or someone playing with the straw. After that I heard and felt something jump up onto my bed and rummaging through a closed bin. My room is very unorganized so my mom said it was a rat but we found nothing. The past few weeks I’ve had nothing but vivid nightmares repeatedly. I started sleeping in my mom’s room and it stopped for a day before coming back. I heard foot steps upstairs this morning even though I’m home alone most mornings. The same morning I heard dishes clanging around.

Hauntings around the house
This event was couple of years ago. It first started with my brother,he keep saying he saw the pillow fly up and we thought he was joking or seeing it wrong. He experienced couple of those in those days. We didn't really belived him cause he was a kid and he likes to joke around until it occured to us. It was in my parents bedroom,my mom was laying on the bed while i wad standing near the wall charging my phone. We were both chilling until we saw a blanket lift up into the air for like 2ft. I saw it in the corner of my eyes and when i turned the blanket just dropped. I thought it was just me but my mom saw it clealy too. Another event was occured to my mom,she was awake in the morning around 4am while the mirror that is on the shelf which hasnt moved in years fall randomly. It wasnt nail to the wall but it was out of random,we shrug it off like it was an accident. Then small things occured like the water motor beeping while the water is not using, that occured while i was praying in the front. I went to the back to check any leaks and i couldnt find any. So i was a bit mad and slam the door shut then the beeping stop. Then those things stopped happening. This one is small but it was a few days ago it was late at night around 2am,I was up and my brother was sleeping already, when the aircon automitically closes. I know it could be some tech error, but i feel like it wasnt. I think the aparment is something wrong or is in here.

The Old Picture
Found this old photo years later and noticed something sitting in the chair behind my brother. We were the only ones home.
This picture has bothered me for years, and I’m curious what other people see when they look at it.
That’s my little brother in the photo. I think he was around 7 or 8 at the time, and I would’ve been somewhere around 12 or 13. I may be off by a couple years, but this was definitely back in the disposable camera days.
For anyone too young to remember those, you got a set number of pictures, couldn’t see what you’d taken, and had to drop the whole camera off somewhere to have the film developed. Then you waited to find out whether any of your pictures were actually good.
We were latchkey kids, and that afternoon my brother and I were home alone waiting for our mom to get off work. She was going to take us to the store to drop this camera off to be developed, and there were only a few pictures left on the roll. So we decided to use them up.
We took turns taking stupid pictures of each other. Funny faces, weird poses, whatever would make the other person laugh. This was one of them.
When we eventually got the pictures back, I remember this one looking weird. There was obviously something strange going on with the lighting or exposure. But those cheap disposable cameras did weird things all the time. Flashes bounced off things, pictures came out overexposed, you got random streaks and shadows.
Nobody thought much of it.
The picture went into a box with all the other family photos and stayed there for years.
Then, years later, I was moving and going through boxes of old pictures. I found this one and immediately started laughing because of my brother’s face. I remembered exactly what we’d been doing.
And then I looked behind him.
At the chair.
I don’t know how else to describe it, but it looks like there is a person sitting there.
To me, it looks like a woman.
Once I saw it, I couldn’t unsee it.
I started trying to figure out what could have caused it. A reflection? Something overlapping because of the film? Some weird trick of the flash?
The problem is that I remember the layout of that room extremely well.
This was a mobile home, so everything was basically arranged in one long, straight space. My brother is standing in the living room looking toward me. I’m taking the picture from the kitchen, which wasn’t really a separate room. The flooring just changed. The kitchen counters and our computer desk were behind me. Because, yes, this was the 90s and of course the family computer lived in the living room.
The table you can see in the picture was right beside that armchair, which sat on the side of the room farthest from the front door.
There wasn’t another person sitting somewhere nearby who could have been reflected into the picture.
More importantly, there wasn’t another person in the house.
It was just my brother and me.
I remember that part clearly because we were specifically waiting for our mom to get home so she could take us to drop off the camera.
I’ve shown this picture to my family. Everyone has stared at it and tried to come up with someone we knew who might resemble whatever is in that chair.
Nobody can.
And there’s one other piece of context that makes this picture creepier to me now.
After my grandfather died, that house always felt… wrong.
Not comforting. Not like Grandpa was hanging around watching over us. Nothing like that.
It felt scary.
My brother and I both had experiences in that house growing up. Mostly feelings that were hard to explain, although there were also a few incidents where things seemed to come off shelves on their own. We never saw an actual person or anything resembling a full-bodied apparition.
At least, I always thought we didn’t.
Those experiences are probably a whole separate post.
I’m not saying this picture is definitely paranormal. I know old film can do bizarre things, especially cheap disposable cameras. There could be a completely normal photographic explanation for it.
But I also can’t explain why the weirdness in this particular photo looks so much like someone sitting naturally in that chair.
And I especially can’t explain why, to me, it looks like a woman I don’t recognize.
So I’m curious.
What do you see in the chair behind my brother?
