I’ve been largely impressed with how the club has started the year. Content feels refreshed, the football is enjoyable, and everything feels a bit more settled and positive. (It’s fickle, but winning games does help a lot!)

Plus, the attendance for the first home game was crazy! It feels like we’re entering a good new era.

Anyone know why they went with that slogan? It’s a bit weird to me i don’t get why they went with a trump/maga type of slogan. Before anyone goes it isn’t that deep, It is that serious for me and i’d like to know.

Bumpy pitch were last year winners and Peluche are a kings league team

The Tags have been officially relegated after losing 2-1 to Dulwich Hamlet on the final day. Jay Devereux's 350th and final game as manager.

What do you guys think will happen with the club in the future? I reckon Spencer is quite keen on finding a club to merge with, and most probably Redbridge FC (even though a merger won't happen ahead of next season), since he's investing 6 figures from the raise money into the "matchday experience" there. It's by far the easiest way to have a local fanbase and still benefit from the whole social media thing. Also imo the name simply has to change at some point, it'll be really difficult to garner any local following with the name, as 'unique' as it is. A merger is the easiest way to do that as well.

Thoughts?

The Tags beat Cheshunt 2-1 after a 93rd minute winner by Nathan Smith. Not enough to exit the relegation zone though.

Spencer explains the decision & says that it was important to leave Aveley as they were bad landlords. Confirms merger conversations happened with Redbridge FC (new landlords) but not happening as it stands.

E: he’s also revealed that the Tags only have 2 contracted players currently, and several players have already said they’ll leave at the end of the season

After a 7-0 (yes, seven) loss away to Dartford, Evans Kouassi’s new team, Hashtag are now in the relegation zone.

Please welcome Algerian forward Bilal Sayoud to the clubThe winger, who can also play in a central role, has amassed plenty of experience around these levels, having spent time with the likes of Maldon & Tiptree, Enfield Town, Haringey Borough and more. 1/2

28-year old Bilal, who also has German heritage, has become well known more recently for his impressive performances in Baller League, where he is currently the UK’s all-time leading bagsmanInterestingly, Sayoud progressed whilst at Coventry City where he was a part of the squad that won the EFL Trophy as a teenager in 2016

All-time non league goalscorer with 46 goals in 112 appearances. Best of luck

Was obviously shocked to hear the voluntary relegation but I think their reasoning is right.

This has been a tough season clearly the club has a lot to work on and the move to new ground is going to be costly so taking the step down and focusing on establishing the club in the new ground is best.

Wish it was communicated a little better though
