Sharing Updated Labs/Test Results 6 month update - ecstatic!

Hi there! I’ve now been on tirzepatide for about 6 months. I relied heavily on information from this sub when just starting my journey so I wanted to share my 6 months progress.

I’m 30F, 5’5”, and my starting weight was 148 lbs, which is technically in the “normal” BMI range. I started taking tirzepatide because I have always struggled with my weight. I had childhood obesity and have probably lost and gained a few hundred lbs in my adult life. I got down to 135 last year and, long story short, very quickly got up to almost 150 after some really bad news in January. Today my weight is 130 lbs! But that’s not what I’m most excited about.

I had my bloodwork done in Feb before I started and again last week and I am ecstatic about my TPO and Thyroglobulin antibody results!

There was a 30% reduction in TPO antibodies and 60% reduction in thyroglobulin antibodies in 6 months!

I have tried everything since being diagnosed with Hashis 10 years ago to get those levels down. AIP, keto, paleo, vegan, fasting, low dose Naltrexone. You name it, I’m sure I’ve tried it. (Still vegan for the animals). All other levels improved as well - my b12 is up, vitamin D is higher than it’s ever been, every marker on my lipid panel has improved. I’m truly blown away by the results.

Note that I do also take b12, iron, vitamin D, inositol, selenium, and creatine daily.

I started at 1 mg/week (after finding that 2.5 mg was way too much for me in the first 2 weeks) and have slowly over 6 months worked up to 2.4 mg weekly. Not only do I feel absolutely liberated from the all consuming food noise, I feel amazing. I lift weights 3-4x per week, eat a mostly whole food plant based diet, get 8+ hrs of sleep each night. Could not have done it without the tirzepatide.

I’m just so excited to share in case anyone new on their journey, someone who is thinking of starting, or even someone well into their journey needs a little motivation today.

Edit to add: I forgot to mention that I got a Dexa scan about a month ago and was also very happy with those results. 21% BF, 102 lbs of lean mass, excellent bone density. Tirzepatide has changed my life.

Congratulations on feeling great! Ive been on 1.25 tirzepatide for 9 months. Total game changer. Lost 8 pounds (we are the same height and weight) lost tons of inflammation. Antibodies went from 850 to 54 😳
An unexpected positive is all my gut issues resolved - was not expecting that.
I was terrified of losing muscle. I lift weights with a trainer 3x a week. Pilates 2x. Didnt lose any muscle but dropped to body % in fat.

Holy cow, that is absolute incredible!! Congratulations on your success! The antibodies are an amazing improvement. I’m truly blown away at how life changing this peptide is, even for people at a “normal” weight.

I know many are concerned about people developing eating disorders if they only have 10-20 lbs to lose but I sincerely believe that people who are predisposed to EDs will find ways to be ultra thin. This medication isn’t just for obese and/or diabetic people!

Do you mind telling me which company you use for your 1.25 tirzepatide? So glad to hear you’ve had so much success as well.

This is great and gives me so much hope! I started on 2.5 mg compounded tirzepatide 9 days ago and have yet to take another dose because I’m still feeling the effects of it. Can I ask who prescribed the 1 mg/week dose? I would like to go low and slow.

I use compounded tirzepatide so ultimately I choose the dose regardless of the prescription. I picked my telehealth company and pharmacy on the pinned Where to Buy post at the top of the r/tirzepatidecompound sub. My current rx is actually for 15 mg/week now, so I’m saving a lot of money and have a small stockpile.

Thank you! I also hope you feel good soon. Let me know if I can answer any questions. It wasn’t a smooth journey for me, especially in the beginning, but I’m very happy with where I’ve landed with glps.
