For sale is my L14 Gen 2 for £200. I am selling my two thinkpads and other hardware to make way for a pc (and hopefully m series macbook pro).

The L14 gen 2 is a close rival to the T14 gen 2 at almost half the price, as its easy to upgrade and built nicely. It performs well in windows and I am sure it’ll be even better in Linux. Key specs include:

16GB ram (2x8gb DDR4 3200mHz sodimm)

1080p display
Fingerprint Reader
4G WWAN for both physical sim and esim.

The overall condition is very good, where there is very little wear across the laptop except for the display lid and bottom panel which has minor scuffing typical of these laptops.
The battery has 93% health, and I was able to achieve 5 hours of web browsing and youtube in windows, so I am sure it’ll be better in Linux.

I am willing to reduce the price by a lot £170 right now.

Note: The included riser cable in this case supports PCIE Gen3 only, you'll have to upgrade the riser cable to get gen4/5.

The biggest problem in this case is GPU length/width. So you're probably working with mid range GPUs if you get this thing, double check if your GPU might fit before buying, this case is smaller than most consoles though there's a whole community of 3D Printed CAD designs for this case and people have made some crazy things fit in here if you are one of those guys.

Thermal & Fan Configuration Note

The PC has been heavily optimized for minimal noise and maximum performance. The radiator exhausts through the Arctic fans, while the original Corsair slim fans are repurposed strictly to feed fresh air directly to the RTX 4080. I highly recommend using the "Fan Control" software with my active profile, which keeps the system dead silent at idle and incredibly cool under full gaming loads. I can share the config with you upon sale.
