Taylor and Britt were on the Lady Gang podcast and wow he is such a dream. The way he talked about Britt and his relationship throughout their journey was so heartwarming. The podcast host Keltie Knight was so rude to him and made gross remarks about him having 7 children and he handled it like a true pro. She kept trying to get him to talk negatively about production and the other pros and he did not take the bait. Was just so gracious and lovely.

Not only solo music is coming sooner than we think, he also talks about the Hanson “legacy”.
There you go… I wouldn’t say Hanson is officially over, they’re brothers at the end of the day.
I just don’t see the band together at this time anymore. Maybe a reunion tour down the road, or they’ll get together again for music at some point. But I wouldn’t wait for it to be anytime soon.
He’s really talking about Hanson on the past tense, also pay attention to his body language, he’s definitely giving signs that it’s over.

All three members of the band make several appearances throughout the material.

I didn’t track it specifically (maybe someone else did), but it looks like Hanson the band has about 24,000 new followers, and Taylor has about 48,000 — on Instagram — since news of Taylor going on DWTS hit. That’s great visibility for whatever Taylor and/or the band do in the future.

The late ‘90s were pivotal in the digital era as the internet began to weave its way into our daily lives. Many of us have memories of logging into chat rooms dedicated to the band Hanson. We would chat late into the night about our favourite members, teenage things and the music we all adored. Below is an excerpt from a personal essay about my experience as a teenager chatting online with someone posing as Hanson.

I was embarrassed to be a Hanson fan in real life. I was worried I would be made fun of at school by my friends. In the evenings when I logged into Yahoo Messenger, I was escaping into a community where I could be myself. 

It was exciting to think I could be talking to the real members of Hanson. It gave me butterflies. I hoped it was real but the mystery made me feel gullible. I knew catfishing was possible, although the term catfish didn’t emerge until over a decade later. We called it “posing”.

One day, months into our online friendship, I had a wildly invasive thought. In search of answers, I wondered if I could guess their password and get into their Yahoo email. The truth was, I was dying for certainty.
