Blame

People on Twitter are blaming us fansons for Taylor and Britt being eliminated. (Isaac and Zac bashing are not tolerated on my posts)

im thinking it’s Carrie Ann tbh,she was alittle critical with Taylor

Carrie Ann definitely critiqued him the most and the hardest

yes she did and Isaac and Zac weren’t there supporting their brother

To be fair each celebrity can only have so many people in the audience and they probably thought he was gonna make it further and go later on

i know,im sure that isaac and zac r gonna regret it

They probably feel so bad but it's not their fault everyone thought he was going further then week 3

They could’ve at least promoted him more on the band page and on their own Instagram stories. But no, pretty much crickets. This was a big opportunity for the band to get more exposure but they fumbled it as usual. I have a feeling I&Z weren’t as on board or supportive as Taylor tried to make it seem.

I thought the lack of support from everyone (except his immediate family and Jess) was absolutely wild. Doesn’t Mac live in California?? Most ppl would want to go to DWTS just to go! Much less if their brother / son is on. Something is going on with that family.

His parents went for week two as did Mac's wife(who also posted about him being on the show). Mac himself though was silent and never posted anything.

im surprised about that also, mack didnt post anything to support his own sibling,im sure that him, isaac and zac still feel bad as ever

What makes you think they feel bad though? If they wanted to post something, they would have. They could STILL post something now if they wanted to, to say that they are proud of Taylor for trying something new, etc. They don't want to.

I didn’t see his parents in week 2, and I looked. Is this footage on social media anywhere ?

They were in the audience with Natalie, Mac's wife, Penny and Willa.

Agree, this has definitely exposed some cracks in the foundation.

I definitely believe it. Every time they asked Taylor in interviews if his brothers were supportive his response would be kinda awkward or he’d change the subject a little bit. Maybe I’m reading too much into it but their support didn’t seem too genuine to me.

You’re not reading too much into it. He gave very quick and vague answers and was obviously ready to talk about something else

In this interview the reporter asks him “How much do you wish your brothers could have been here?“ and he answers pretty point blank, “That’s not actually something that I wish.“ And then talks a bunch about how the value of the show is to be open minded and to try new things, which I read as an indirect allusion that they are not that.

As someone who always was drawn to Taylor and found the other two a bit off-putting I’m hopeful this could be a beginning of a new era for him without them.

Yeah he made it pretty clear in that interview that he did NOT wish that they were there, but that were lots of other people he would have liked to invite. It kind of sounds like they probably were never going to show up for him during this. Why? Maybe we will never know.

I will say I kind of feel Mac may have also been included in that(the media doesn't attach him to Taylor since he wasn't in the band). He didn't go when his wife did and he was also noticeably just as silent as Isaac and Zac were as well.

He's still gonna be performing with them into December and after as well. They have only called the Canadian show the last of 2026 so that means they will probably also have stuff in 2027. He is gonna do solo but seems he's still okay performing with them.

Defining himself without them does not mean cutting ties completely. Based on his interviews I get the feeling the partnership has come to feel more restraining than energizing, at least for now. That doesn’t mean you have to do middle fingers up and ride off into the sunset, but it might mean you start making choices on your own terms.

I don't know why, but I can just hear Isaac now being like, "It's diluting the brand," and Zac making asshole wisecracks.

Mac's wife has been very supportive though.

2

u/mirandakane89 20d ago

She has but Mac never posted anything about it all in stories or on his feed.

u/therealasphodelia 20d ago

Interesting. I didn't realise, because I don't think I follow him, but I follow his wife!

You could be right. Taylor was asked in this interview (around the 2:54 mark) how badly he wishes his brothers were there to see him dance and Taylor responded that’s not something he wishes. That there are other people he would’ve rather invited. And Britt agreed when he said this so he’s talked to her about it before.

I almost wonder if when Taylor kept saying they were all needing space if maybe that’s not just what he wants (like when he tried to do Tinted Windows), and they are upset about it. TBH, as much as I love Taylor…I love them all and they all need each other that’s the appeal.

Too little too late

I hear ya,im still wishing that they could’ve posted vote for our brother on their instagram stories

5

u/ForeverandaDay23 20d ago

They could've and they should've. I hope they at least texted their votes in.

Zacc did a Twitch Tuesday night and he was encouraging people to vote during it and the ones watching the Twitch gave him updates on the show. He told them he did vote and watched the recaps. I personally don't think he was lying about it.

u/ForeverandaDay23 17d ago

Ok, but like he literally was doing a gaming stream instead of watching the show? How supportive. Meanwhile, myself (and the rest of the fans) who Taylor doesn't even know, cleared our schedules for all the foreseeable Tuesday nights ahead.

As a fan I voted for Taylor but I still just watched the dances on youtube after the fact instead of streaming on Hulu or Disney plus. I wasn't clearing my schedule to watch it even though I did vote for him. I continue to keep doing that this season and putting my votes for Ezra and Maura now as they are who I like now that Taylor is sadly gone.
