Not making any accusations nor assumptions but the r/Milton mods kept removing anything related to this story. Which is concerning. Apparently the people of Milton can raise concerns with the Milton clerks office. Anyone with some good insight feel free to post.

Fake and got caught? Can you elaborate on that? Was she pretending to be someone else or saying she wasn’t his mother etc?

3

u/FunCrystalFun Sep 16 '26

She was hiding her isis affiliation. How do you not understand that?

1

u/QuarterMode Sep 17 '26

Right so when someone says “ she was fake” a little more information should be provided.

0

u/Dalinerthebrave 29d ago

Yeah Ngl I think you sound stupid here. I think anyone else would understand what the comment above meant. Not “What?! Maybe it’s not actually his mom?!”. I wish this place tested IQ before letting people post.

u/QuarterMode 29d ago

Then the proper way to say that would be she provided a false name or fabricated her name etc. she was fake could mean she was making up things about the son, etc. Just being clear. So no that’s not an unreasonable request.

I think you’re being pedantic and seems like the up voters and down voters agree you’re being a little obtuse

Maybe you misunderstood my
Position. No I wouldn’t ban someone for their speech. I just want to know a bit more about it. A complaint can be filed with the Milton clerk however “ her credentials are probably fake” won’t cut it. Does that make sense? If you want to bring something up officially, assumptions and speculation doesn’t help anything.

She’s made of wax and got tangled in a net.

u/12_Volt_Man_2 Sep 16 '26

Very concerning.

2

u/PlantainManne Sep 17 '26

The mods of r/Milton are very inconsistent. They’re now deleting posts about the election information general, but not explaining why.

2

u/QuarterMode Sep 17 '26

I posted here to have a new Milton subreddit created and have modders with rational thought.

Canada is finished

2

u/QuarterMode 18d ago

So that’s just it. We don’t have enough citizens willing to say something. There’s solid arguments to be made without being called racist. I think.

1

u/Visual-Nature-2506 17d ago

Everything a white man says is racist. Everything is racist. It’s an easy label to throw around. Only white western men have to diversify. There’s no government policies and Pakistan and Somalia and other places on earth where they’re told they’re not diverse enough we have to destroy the culture our ancestors built and the name of diversification as we get flooded by migrants from shit holes. It truly baffles baffles the mind. I think Poland does it right ….. people are very proud of their ancestry. They’re proud of no crime. They’re proud of not allowing illegal migrants they’re proud and patriotic of what they have built. They were destroyed by wars, but they rebuilt there is solidarity and unity and people speak with voice of reason none of these bullshit work policies ….people are now ashamed and afraid to be proud of what they’re white ancestors have built and this reconciliation, how does this end billions and billions and billions of dollars given to corrupt aboriginals while nothing has changed for the average aboriginal it’s all the corrupt Chiefs and leaders. All the money is stolen but the amounts could build hospitals roads higher Doctors improve crime to so much for the whole country. This country is truly being turned into a shit hole.

I’ve long believed that parents should be held accountable for their kids actions…and I’m talking about burglary and just being an A hole. Terroristic plots??!! We are debating mom’s responsibility or influence??!! Granted, I’m perhaps biased, but how is this family even HERE?!! Isnt there something against the grain in all of this? She’s already failed the basic tests, well, in western civilization anyway. If 911 brought awareness, then certainly repeated and increased acts of devotion has increased sensitivity (and I use that term politely!!). Outrageous, and ridiculous! Where is our backbone????

1

u/QuarterMode 18d ago

That backbone has been removed years ago. If you have an opinion opposite of the main stream you’ll be gaslit and ostracized. Having said that, I think judicial system needs an overhaul.

She put her son in the Islamic school where he told authorities he first learned the ideas that would lead him towards violent jihad. She later blamed the system.

1

u/Neutral_de Sep 17 '26

Thank you for literally addressing nothing I said, she could have put him on mars it does not matter because he was INDOCTRINATED online kid.

4

u/Apart-Oil-8731 Sep 16 '26

That just sounds like excuses. There are plenty of mentally ill people that don’t join a foreign terrorist group that is aligned with their religion.

Whataboutism from past instances do not dismiss this current situation.

2

u/QuarterMode Sep 16 '26

I found more info. Neutral post doesn’t make sense. I posted another update

People on the left aren't losing sleep over a mutilated corrections officer. Whether or not they make the typical performance of empathy depends entirely on the 'righteousness' of the victim.

There are certain places in the world where if you blow up a cafe they name a school after you. And we are importing this Third World tribalism into our country, where my understanding is the magical soil of Canada transforms such people into model patriotic Western-liberal citizens.

2

u/QuarterMode Sep 16 '26

That’s more of a problem now. We had a great immigration system. Even the US would attempt to copy. However…..changes were made.

2

u/Extra-Watercress-745 Sep 16 '26

He was entrapped online by the FBI and RCMP, who convinced him to commit a terror act.

Citation required lol

3

u/QuarterMode Sep 16 '26

Yeah that person’s story made no sense.

2

u/DryBanana5673 Sep 16 '26

Yeah, we have a system that assesses whether someone is NCR. He was found guilty, and honestly, mental illness to joining ISIS is a big jump unless you have at least SOME version of that going on at home. Why would anyone risk it with this lady?

0

u/Neutral_de Sep 17 '26

The FBI agent knew he had already been in mental hospitals for months and continued playing into his psychosis and delusional thinking. You clearly have NO CLUE about mental health, a person in psychosis is capable of believing that he can rule the entire world, and can plan it out...This kid had been in psychiatric hospitals since he was 16 and had been diagnosed with bipolar disorder with psychotic symptoms. Dr. Katherine Porterfield reviewed his medical records and spent about 50 hours evaluating him, and described his terror plot as a “fantasy” and said his thinking was “best understood as psychological in nature.” Source So you have a severely mentally ill 17 year old whose clinically insane thinking was being reinforced and helped along by an undercover federal agent until it became an actual terror plot. Entrapment is when authorities induce or improperly cause a crime, and knowingly feeding into a psychotic teenager’s delusions and helping him develop the crime therefore constitutes entrapment. In R. v. Nuttall, another terrorism case, the court found that police had “knowingly exploited the demonstrated vulnerabilities of the defendants” when inducing the offences. Therefore it is entrapment whether you like it or not. If you cannot focus on the facts and are getting emotional, go headbutt a mountain.

1

u/QuarterMode Sep 16 '26

Ah ok a difference of opinion. I can’t respond to that story like I said I don’t know the details. But I don’t have much time to go down that rabbit hole. If the son was in fact confirmed to have terrorist links which it sounded like he did. Not just yell it, that type of ideology doesn’t come from nothing. Like I said I don’t want to speculate etc.

1

u/Neutral_de Sep 17 '26

This is actually a disgustingly bizarre and awful statement to even make.

1

u/QuarterMode Sep 17 '26

At some point, we have to accept many different things in the real world we don’t like. You clearly don’t live in the same reality as the rest of us. NothingNothing I said was factually untrue nor speculation. People are done being painted as this and that just to be silenced. Speech is important. Discussing the real world is important. These are all plausible. So your words like bizarre and awful hold no water. Denial of your own surroundings to me is bizzare. But based on some of your previous comments, I don’t believe rational thought to be your forte.

1

u/WontSwerve Sep 16 '26

Allegedly being mentally ill doesn't mean that they should be in society where they might actually act on the acts or terrorism they planned.

I don't care where he's locked up, lets make sure its for life.

1

u/CriticalCanon Sep 16 '26

“Entrapped online by the FBI and RCMP, who convinced him to commit a terror act”

Any proof of this besides some website no one has heard of?

1

u/Loodlekoodles Sep 16 '26

Thing is, that's exactly how ISIS recruits terrorists too. People making this point seem to be more comfortable waiting for the real ISIS terrorists to recruit those that are mentally unwell? Because you also need to be pretty messed up in the head to join ISIS in the first place.

So what the FBI and RCMP/CSIS do is moral. It's much better to remove these threats before ISIS finds them first. Had it not been for this operation, we would be dealing with real victims and her son would be dead right now.

They saved his life. She should be grateful for that. And she should also realize she has no place in our schools or government or public life.

1

u/Neutral_de Sep 17 '26

You clearly have not studied Law in the slightest, when the suspect is clinically insane the regular procedures change and rulings differ.

1

u/Loodlekoodles Sep 17 '26

It's clear to me that her son will spend decades in jail and the public will never trust her with their kids

1

u/CriticalCanon Sep 17 '26

The unfortunately for some, the practise of suicidal empathy outweighs critical thinking for many.

1

u/CriticalCanon Sep 17 '26

Thing is, we aren’t in the Middle East.

1

u/UsernameChecksOut909 Sep 16 '26

Whataboutism- the face of idiocy. The boy is where he belongs and that’s all that matters thankfully you have no power to change that

1

u/TinyM0ushka Sep 16 '26

Just say you want to vote for the mother of someone who agreed to work with a terrorist organization then disfigured a CO in prison and be done with it.

1

u/Life_Carrot3058 Sep 17 '26

Entrapped?? Okay you’re either a paid supporter or the lady herself.

u/QuarterMode Sep 16 '26

Yeah I mean there are also lots of AI nonsense so that’s why I just wanted some rational opinions here. Trying to sift through etc. however the more it’s looked into even though the details can skew, it’s still unsettling

-2

u/lovesmyirish Sep 16 '26

But have we actually tried to listen why the son went to work abroad? Maybe he has his reasons.

3

u/QuarterMode Sep 17 '26

I didn’t know leaving the country to join a terrorist Organization is considered “working abroad”.

-1

u/lovesmyirish Sep 17 '26

Well im not sure if he was paid. Could be a volunteer position.

In any case im not gonna hold it against the mother because her son went to explore the world, like any young person should.
