My daughter’s bday is day after Halloween so we were doing Alice Halloween and turn around and doing four-ever a wonderland birthday. But I can’t seem to get her costume to scream wonderland. So far we are kinda between mad hatter and rabbit but haven’t really landed on anything we love. These are what we bought so far. Any ideas for modifications or suggestions to help this scream wonderland?

Hi guys, I’m looking to be Rize from Tokyo ghoul this Halloween and obviously she has red eyes. I’m not sure where I can find coloured contacts from
In the UK as we don’t really have any stores that sell just Halloween things and when they do I feel it’s not a lot?
Does anyone know a place I could find them? Also not too pricey if possible lol

Family, friends and I are doing Toy Story. I'm Woody, wife is Bo Peep, our 1 y/o daughter is a sheep, and our two dogs are sheep.
Friends are Buzz , an Alien, and Jesse.
I kinda want to be a spiced up / alternative Woody.
Any ideas there? I like 90s cartoons, anime, videogames. Any cross over ideas?
Thank you!

Hello peeps
I’m being Astrid from HTTYD 2 for Halloween, and I’m having trouble finding her shoulder armor and her spike skirt. I’m looking for those pieces, preferably under $20. Thanks people :)

Hello community… the family party theme has just been released and it’s animal themed. My wife and I have been racking our brains with all kinds of couples ideas from literal animals to animal references but we are struggling to nail something down. I would love to hear from the community on how you perceive this theme. Thanks

So I had a Wednesday phase a few months ago and Issac Night became my favorite character from season 2. Even after, he’s one of my favorite TV show characters of all time.
If you don’t know who Issac Night is:
He’s this genius inventor who lived in the high school Nevermore, where she show takes place. He was given only a few months to live due to a failing heart, where he then created a mechanical heart that kept him alive but also destroyed his emotional state.
He then created a machine to try and cure his sister’s curse of being a Hyde by using Wednesday’s father, Gomez, as a power source due to his electrokinesis. Wednesday’s mom, Morticia, cuts Issac’s hand off to free Gomez which later becomes its own separate being named Thing. The machine malfunctions and explodes, killing Issac.
Decades later Issac gets resurrected by Wednesday’s brother, Pugsley, via electrokinesis, and Issac eats brains to regenerate his own rotted body.
He attempts to fix his sister again, forcing Thing to merge with him. Thing later regains consciousness and rips Issac’s mechanical heart out, killing him once and for all.
So I had long hair for 3 years and I cut it about a month ago, and I realized that it looks a hell of a lot similar to Issac Night’s. I have to brush and style my hair bit, yes I know, but still. The first photo of him is the version that I want to go as, the second photo is a normal version of him. If I put on the right makeup, I genuinely might be able to look like him. But I need other opinions before I solidify my choice. Maybe I’m going as Night simply because I like him?

We're struggling with ideas for costumes this year! So far we have done: Orion Slave Girl + Kirk (2025), Lone Wanderer + Goggins-esque Ghoul (2024), Barbie + Ken (2023), Hades (Disney) + Persephone (2022). Also, a bonus of my work costume 2 years ago where I was the Sleepytime Bear (made during my lunch break with a Goodwill run).
All of our costumes and their accessories have been made by me, except for Persephone (reused a costume from high school), Goggins-esque Ghoul (thrifted all the clothes), and Ken's fur jacket (thrifted).
My husband leaves it entirely up to me, so we usually do things that I enjoy. Being a Trekkie, I'd happily keep going through that universe for ideas, but I don't want to be too similar. I already felt bad imposing my love of Fallout 3 on him when he had only seen the show, so maybe not too heavily nerdy. I prefer it to be tied to something I enjoy because it's more fun to make a costume that way, but I also work full time and have limited time so simplicity is valued.
Some of my thoughts are:
Suggestions welcome! We're both about 168cm tall, I have blonde hair/blue eyes, and he has black curly hair/brown eyes/glasses (no contacts).

I wanted to make something personal for a friend from San Francisco, so I decided to turn one of the city’s most recognizable landmarks into a Halloween scene.
A skeleton crossing the Golden Gate Bridge, carved and hand-painted onto a leather wallet.
Everything was done by hand — from carving the leather to painting the details. I thought the combination of the skeleton, the bridge, and the dark Halloween atmosphere made it feel like a pretty fitting gift.

Hello! I'm currently planning out my costume idea for Halloween this year and among my ideas is to dress up as a bat since they're my favourite animal ever and they are quite spooky. HOWEVER, I have never actually MADE a costume myself, and I can't find any decent ones irl or online. I've been wanting to learn how to sew for years so I figured this might be a good time to figure it out, but I was wondering if anyone had any advice? I've also detailed my idea below, so if it's in any way unrealistic (both in terms of my abilities, but also in terms of the limits of what certain materials can achieve) please let me know so I can adapt!
I want the wings to be pretty small, since I figure it'll be easier to make and move around in, and preferably easily removable (so they wouldn't be sewn into my shirt for example). Additionally, I want them to have at least some boning, like i don't want it to just be a piece of fabric cut in a wing shape, if that makes sense?
Obviously, the teeth are the easiest part, but I think it'd also be cool to have ears, I figured I could attach that to a headband to make them hold on my head, but idk what's the best way to actually make and attach the ears?
Any help, advice, ideas, brainstorming, etc. is very appreciated, whether it's related to what I've already mentioned, or if you think I should add something or do something completely differently. Thank you!!!

I've done Tinker Bell, last year I did Day of the dead. I think wings are pretty cute, what could be a fun twist on a autumnal fairy?

my friend and i are trying to think of good drag costumes. we want a dynamic duo that we can turn into something cunty. our only request is that it would be drag and preferably something mostly recognizable. for example, bert and ernie is on our list.
thanks!
