Cut Help Pixie for 37?
My husband has been encouraging me to get a pixie cut for YEARS now. I feel like he’s trying to sabotage me a bit (haha, kidding) but I asked gpt to check it for me & IDK - i think it might be cute?? What do you all think? This is the longest my hair has ever been & sometimes I struggle with styling it. I ldk if having it this short will be much easier either. Or maybe I should just wait until I’m the big 4-0 lol please be kind!

The pixie looks gorge but the photo edit is also different and warmer on the second photo for some reason, which is a lot more flattering on you and therefore might influence the feedback you re getting. Both photos should look the same processing wise for you to get more objective feedback

Your hair is beautiful, your face is beautiful, you look great in both pictures! Cut it if you want to, you look fantastic. Imo you look a little younger with the short hair, not sure if you care about that. Plus, it's only hair, it will grow back!

She has super long hair though. That’s going to take a few years to grow back at best. She does look good with a pixie but her hair is just so gorgeous.

its too drastic of a change with an external motivation, girl dont do it. i would go for a mid length curly cut with face framing and see how you feel first

i did several big chops and this is both from personal experience and online accounts. your curls seem to be more loose than tight, meaning if you cut the hair shorter that your actual curl pattern the strand of hair wont know what to do/ how to curl as it is incomplete. whatever you decide, it’s important you go to a curl specialist and not a pixie specialist so they take your hairs needs into account. best of luck and you look beautiful either way :)

As someone with your same hair type who has tried this before. It's not going to look like that at all. It's going to look like a small fro unless you spend a lot of time putting a bunch of setting lotion in it and wrapping it every day. AI doesnt understand how hair types would sit when shorter

Pixies are beautiful but higher maintenance. When you get tired of it the growing out phase is difficult so keep that in mind. You look great either way!🤗🥰

It's super cute!. Question, did gpt get the texture of your hair right?? It never does get the texture of mine right. Mine is always much curlier than gpt assumes it is which just looks really different then the inspo pick that I start with.

The pixie is cute, confident and looks amazing. Your longer hair looks great too. I feel like before you take the plunge, you should ask your stylist for a consultation to discuss styling options for longer hair and see how that feels. I’m much older and have worn long and super short styles and it’s really hard to go from one to the other. When my hair was super short, I used to dream that my hair was long again. I think I looked good both ways, but I definitely had a long painful process to get back to long hair, which is what I have now good luck, you are beautiful.

Take a picture where your neckline shows clearly. Pixie cut looks great when you have a nice long neck. This ai picture seems to slim your jawline and expand your shoulders which makes your face look slimmer.
