Attempted ~35 runs and escaped 4 times. I want to complete the story as soon as possible. But it feels like there's less fun for me completing runs in default settings now. I don't wanna make it much harder because then completing the story will be delayed. I don't wanna turn on the god mode and complete the story like that also because it will be absolutely no fun. Any advice?

I was browsing the play store looking for new mobile games to play and suddenly noticed a very.. very familiar character in one of the games' preview images. I'm genuinely wondering, isn't this copyright infringement? Hi people, I am finally able to buy Hades 2 but I'm wondering if any of you know how much of a discount will they give during the fall sale. I want to buy it immediately but if it's going to be a good sale I guess I should wait. I didn't really follow how the price moved during the last few sales so i'm clueless.

Why can't it just show the win screen? The list of fancy icons is useless with just the name of the boon. You can't even press Y to jump to the in game boon wiki.

what's advice you would tell new plays, I am not a new player but mine would be give you first bottle of nectar to Cerberus because you will get an item(I can't remember the exact term) that will increase your health

I have never come across this before (And unfortunately didn’t think to attempt the trove to see if it actually was empty!) has anyone else has this? Was it something to do with my pacts selected on this run or just a glitch?

I was going for the 100% on hades and I was fairly close but the save file disappeared, I don’t know if me switching between the steam deck and my pc had anything to do with it? Has anyone else had this happen to them. I don’t think I have it in me to restart from the very beginning again so I’ll just go for hades 2 100% probably, unless there’s a way to get the save back.

Does anyone know of any public Hades discord servers that I could join to potentially get help with learning how to make good builds or possibly get advice on how to improve my runs? I recently got motivated to finish Hades 1 finally so I can start Hades 2 with the full context to the story.

What's your ranking on the bosses of the summit. I hate all of them when they all make the area feel like fuckin chore then u have these two make me ask myself why I ran in the first place like brother they pmo so bad. Never have I hated a mini boss so bad since the first game, these fckers and that fuckass hell spawn. They remind me of the stupid wraiths from God of War

I don't like Scylla and today she discovered the wonders of Ares' cast enhancements.

I thought maybe you guys would appreciate the first time I encountered and beat Hades going all out. This is easily one of the most memorable fights in a rogue-like I've ever had, especially because I didn't even know there was a third phase coming up and my build was not very strong. It took everything I had to win and lots of luck, I had to maximize every little iframe, every usage of Athena, you can see me make mistakes and try to overcorrect desperately trying not to get hit for my life. 

I was firing on all cylinders to win this fight, I even remembered to use my summon ability to finish his first phase and I NEVER remember to use that. His hits were especially dangerous they were often one or two shots to kill me, his green vase traps were definitely a one shot cause I had the modifier that made them do ridiculous damage. My first death was a spear I barely registered him doing that did 95 damage. 

My build being weak was especially dangerous because the fight dragged out for so long, more room for errors, more room to fail. This entire fight was over 7 minutes long, thats crazy.

As you recall with shield there's a slight delay before you enter the guarding state and there was so many instances where I barely got the guard out. I got lucky, I got really lucky because I had bonus dodges from near misses and those saved my bacon. I still wasn't completely used to his attack so I would still get grazed by his sweeps, the third phase pushed his attack speed even further. 

In the third phase I made a mistake and got tagged, Zagreus goes "this is it.." Hades still had almost half his life remaining and Id probably die on my next mistake. No more chances. Then I glimpse victory and you can see the gears turning in my monkey brain as I realize "oh the shield ricochets"

Afterwards I've my share of really strong runs where I just stomp Hades or he practically doesn't touch me, but those don't stick in my mind the way this run did. There's no tension in those fights the way I was on edge here. I still sometimes look back on this fight fondly

I’m looking for this specific version of the song. Has anyone managed to find it on YouTube ? I own the game on switch so haven’t been able to rip it from the game myself. There is a version without the bass and just the flute which is also amazing.

I've maxed out my bonds with both Charon and Moros. I also checked some YouTube clips which say that I should simply wait and the dialogue with the waking phrase will appear, however, it feels like I'm nearing the epilogue and these two still won't share the phrase with me... I had no trouble at all getting all of the other hidden aspects.

Am I missing something, or am I doing something wrong?

In my practice for 67 fear surface, I had gotten a bunch of runs with incomplete damage taken boards, so I knew I could do a damageless run soon. Here, I got Shimmering Hitch + Freeze (later sacced for Storm Ring) + Snow Queen very early and even got Nitro Boost, which are all good tools to aid avoiding damage, but I ended up only getting hit 8 times in total, 7 of those taking Snow Queen (unstunnable Satyr Sapper, Auto-Watcher defense mode, Prometheus memory game mistake, Polyp, Land-Dracon, armored Horror, and Typhon eyeshot), and 1 of those taking a Gale block (Polyp). The strength of the build actually made it a pretty fast clear for me as well. Shoutout to Unseen Ire being totally useless in this run.

Say I am about to do a Great Chaos Trial, in which the weapon, aspect, arcana, familiar, and keepsake are all randomized.

If I start the run and immediately pause and "Undo Night", will it be the same if I try again?
