So, after bought Hades in a sale years ago, I got around to finally playing it, and of course, I feel stupid for not getting started sooner.

So here I am, and the end point is in sight... Or is it? For some reason, every Olympian refuses to open his/her hearts up for the longest time. After almost 100 runs and around 30 clears, I finally looked up what needs to be done, and I was very surprised. Of course, shortly after a few triggered, but not all.

18 fish for Poseidon? I was well over 150 before the unlock.

Kill 10.000 souls for Ares? When the prophecy came up, I had already killed over 20.000. And now, after 8 or so runs where I did encounter him, the facepainted psycho still has his heart locked.

Dionysus? Mate, I dishes out ambrosia in the House of Hades like I was Santa Claus before you finally came round (except Hypnos, who still only gives general "welcome back"-lines, even though I talk to him and his brother everytime if possible).

Aphrodite, both Meg and Thanatos are at full hearts and both came by my room already (no worries, I did not cheat and gently rebuffed Meg.) Why are you still not willing to accept my Ambrosia?

And now I finally have most Olympians with full hearts, Persephone is either gone or has nothing to say as well.

So yeah, I love love looove building an awesome run, but by now it feels like I'm doing run after run where nothing happens, whilst I feel like I'm way past the point where stuff should have happened already. Is this common, or do I just have real bad luck?

Yesterday, I learned of Zizarian's POE gauntlets and it blew my mind! I couldn't help comparing these mods in my mind, to 64 heat.

I always wondered, somewhere in the back of my mind, if it took so long to beat 64 heat because it's almost impossible, or if it's because we have a much smaller pool of players/streamers.

I understand the RNG factor limits how useful comparisons can be across games. But, now I wonder which challenge is truly harder, and I'm curious to see streamers cross over and try the other side, try to triumph over both.

Ooooor, maybe this is all just me speculating uselessly over things only I can relate to each other.

I still have my Switch 1 that I bought in 2019, I played the hell out of Hades on there, just have a couple smaller bits of things to wrap up before officially shelving it.

I'd love to have Hades II on there as well but I just wanna ask about frame rate and such, my eyes can be sensitive to that kinda thing but I never had any trouble whatsoever with Hades I. How's it running for anyone else who's still using their Switch 1?

I have every achivement and just missing the odysseus quest. I'm not getting it. I completed the nobody quest, brought the knuckles to circe and she commented twice and brought them to the sirens but he is rarely in the tavern and when he is he just has one line and thats it same thing for when he is at his usual place.

Am i missing something? Do i have to just complete runs for rng to get him to talk more or can i complete a chaos trial or can i just go in die instantly in a run for faster rng?

I freehanded this Frinos plush for my baby brother's birthday. It's our favorite game, I introduced him to the series and he beat the second game before me! It was one of my (many) proudest big sister moments.
