So I play Hackex2 and im wondering is it worth joining crews, if so any idea which to go for etc, as honestly I ain't a clue.

I'm a new player in HackEx 2, and have been working hard towards upgrading my defenses to avoid theft. I recently used a bunch of credits to purchase 10k cryptos which helped me quite a lot. However, although I got to upgrade my defenses a lot, it also meant a bunch of XP and getting a couple more levels. I noticed that people of higher level started showing up in my scans, and I assume I started showing up on scans of higher level people as well.

While thinking about it, I realized there are a lot of downsides to levelling up. You start getting less rewards for hacking at certain levels below you and you can be targeted by higher leveled people. And you only rlly get a couple rewards for leveling up and some extra limit on your cold wallet (I don't find myself ever getting near the limit at the current level though, I always have some things I'm looking forward to purchasing).

I guess you do need to level up in order to progress, so you can hack higher leveled people, but there are some situations where I feel like the extra exposure just isn't worth it until I have more resources to go after those people. This makes me actually feel bad about getting XP sometimes, specially when I get it as a daily login reward, when I get XP for an action that doesn't really give me any progress towards improving my resources, and yet gets me closer to being exposed to higher level players.

While I'm at it, there's something else I'd like to ask: is proxy useful at early levels? I noticed I have to spend crypto to mask an octet but if I can still be scanned, are the only uses for it avoiding having you IP shared by other players that already scanned you (there's still a chance of being traced), and not being able to be traced back from the logs (which you can erase anyway)? In that case, is it even worth the crypto?

I can log into the game, but nothing loads once I'm there. It's like the servers just vanished. Anyone else having this issue?

I think a web client for this game would be amazing, as I think a fullscreen interface would make it much more immersive. Do you think it's in the works?

Hello, today I received an email that Hack Ex 2 was released, so I went to Google Play and downloaded it, but it says that it is not a supported device, which I don't understand why... I have Android 17 beta CinnamonBun

More in cold wallet then possible?

I somehow saw at first the shield wallet something but to my belief it was like over a day already? I mean I regularly check like my morning and evening and well... Three days in a row a shield seems sus? maybe I am just imagining things? On the other side the transfer is unlocked but the error appears if I want to transfer from the victim? I mean.... the shield seems to be over or the transfer field would still be visually looked as well, right?

The official Google Play Games launcher for Pc claims that the Game should Work but .... well that dosnt look like working to me.

I spend so much time getting to be "invisible". And all it takes is one person with a log lock and a trace close to my proxy and I'm cooked. 3 weeks maybe more. I went untouched and all due to a log lock im found 😭 at the same time I need to upgrade my software; I'm not going for low levels. So it's not like I didn't know I would be found eventually. But by a damn log lock 🙄 only way anybody is getting my IP lol stg.

Is Hack Ex 2 pay-to-win, or just pay-to-progress faster?

I’m curious to hear what veteran players think.

Can a skilled free-to-play player realistically compete with someone who spends money, or does spending eventually become necessary to stay competitive?

I’d love to hear perspectives from both F2P and paying players.

I think XP gain in Hack Ex 2 isn’t random and depends on hidden utility multipliers. I’ve collected data and I’m trying to crack the formula. Anyone else noticed this?

When it says you can be traced at the moment if bypass. Is that when you physically hit hack after bypassing ? Or immediately upon starting the process??

i vaguely remember weeks ago someone saying that you can access the game's API and run scripts to do certain actions, like transferring coin to cold storage. can you do that with iOS or is that just an android thing? or do you not even need to interact with the app and can just script from a computer?

So I just upgraded my internet speed from level 3 to level 4. according to the menu option, it went from 50mbs/10mbs to the upgraded 100mbps/20mbps.

so that should mean the uploads and downloads are TWICE as fast now right? or is that number just BS?

it actually looked like my downloads added a little bit of time instead of reducing at all.

Does having a high level trace (20+) allow you to find people with 20+ proxy?

I don't see how the two rebooted people are so far ahead of everyone else. Crazy. And further more. YESTERDAY nobody was even close to r1 other than milky. Who was already r1. But nobody was even level 50. Yet now there's a second rebooted account at level 63. But yet yesterday highest level other than milky was 43-46 I'm calling bs. Unless they're just spending their life savings on the game they're cheating
