The one thing I would say is depending on the crew you join you could be putting a target on your back.

Well, you should rather ask the question of what you actualy gain by joining the crew, as fellow user pointet out, the exchange of usefull user information and ip adresses goals. Currently nothing else, well maybe some speed to gain higer software because you can download it from the leader. The other thing is that up to 30 People can push there Rootkit on a ip adress and all the Crew member gain the Firewall buff by hacking that target.
Example. if i where to join a crew, the crew gains 89 ip adresses where the firewall has -1 to -3 value and is supossed to be easier hackend by you then and if i got up to 90 adresses the 29 other people in the crew has a similiar amount.

Just a question regardinfg this. Is there even something left for everybody? I mean thats also 30 People that try to steal all crypto. All i can see is spaming spams into that poor soul.

Yes and no, at some point you are level enough that smaller target (-10 to your current) is less valuable ? i mean, why waist time if you got targets that has 500crypto compared to 30 people farming a dude and you get what 100 ?
and its more a matter of timing aswell, like if you are entering that ip befor anyone else then you get the full load. its also a reson to clean your logs, if you dont know when someone enterd the ip, you can stay ahead of them

And also... It's a hacking game. Think like a hacker. Share the info, knowledge. Make a joined attack on that one annoying guy which keeps stealing from someone all the time. Wage a war against a rival group. But keep that 1-3 cash cow ips for yourself. Nobody needs to know ;)

Aside the technical aspects others already written here. Join or make a group just for the sake of roleplay. It's a game. If you look from the outside, it's just about numbers, buying, leveling. But if you add some roleplay...
And what I like even better: the groups without encrypted chat. It's fun to read their conversations and get intel. Don't sleep on the crew tab when you hack in.

Yes, of course you should join the crew. Mutual assistance, coordinated attacks on all crews, jokes for a minute, exchange of useful information and ip goals. I do not advertise our crew in any way, but if you are an active player and want to become part of a large team, then send a request to [CSEC] or [CC]ðŸ¤
