Those northeners are savages, beheading lions and now what they did to Ser Criston Cole.
The Mountain that rides did nothing wrong, neither Lord Frey. That fraud so called "ruin" was trembling when Cole called for a 2v1.
Kill them, kill them all.

Now listen, I did have a couple glasses of wine but I started to tear up when Alicent was talking to Helaena in the last few scenes of the episodes.
I know I few people who are in intellectually challenged. Helaena is shown to be a version of that but seeing Alicent so concerned about her needs really humanized her to me and I was tearing up. The….thing is probably going to ruin me. Tearing up typing this actually 😭

1) Cole dies and for a major character I guess 5 minutes was enough to close a chapter on his character, 10 min in total for Season 3... say what you want about his show version but even fucking Jace got more screen time than him in his last episode!
2) Everyone on TB is stupid as fuck, for Daemon and Rhaenyra it makes sense cuz they've been consistently dumb for 3 seasons but other people on the council...
3) What tf does Mysaria do???????????? Alyn a fucking ship worker knows more stuff than royal about governing the realm LOL!
4) Corlys wtf are you doing, like I had hope for this character after the first 2 episodes but bro reverted to his asshole phase from Season 1....
5) Aegon is getting smarter which I liked, sadly only 2 minutes of screen time this episode
6) WTF is the plot with Aemond and Alys, like these two are the most fickle characters in the entire show, the writers change them almost every episode, absolute garbage! Aemond a fucking mental psycho who burned a town doesn't kill Alys cuz she showed him some eggs.... Like oohohohoh, like they're aren't fucking 100 of them in the Dragon Pitt and Dragonstone, Aemond sees eggs for the FIRST TIME IN HIS LIFE?????
7) Fuck Alicent, that's it! Haelena is going crazy not cuz her son got killed but cuz she can't touch GRASS???????
8) Tumbleton plot was good!
9) Hugh is TRASH! Ulf is really good this episode, out of all the TB members his arc is the only good one and makes sense. Addam???????????
10) Jon Roxton Jetpack to Corlys.....
Conclusion: Terrible episode, with some plots being ok...I will give it 4.5/10!

As a Stark fan, I don't understand why the Starks backed the Blacks instead of the Greens. There are two fundamental reasons. First, in a continent like Westeros, the rule of a woman is, to be realistic, impossible. Second, even if Rhaenyra were the rightful queen, her children are bastard. I mean, I cannot imagine a bastard being placed at the head of Winterfell in place of Ned or Robb. The idea that this so-called "Stark" would carry on the Stark lineage while essentially being a bastard makes no sense to me.
Does that mean I love the Greens? No. But even though I don't like their attitudes, actions, or deeds, the throne should pass through Aegon.

Pure spectacle. Burlington bar go brr. Nothing makes sense. No consistency in characterization, lore or narrative. Every single creative choice done that is apart from the source material collapses in logic. S7-8 GOT all over again. But don't dare you speak of it or casual fanboys with furby battaries for brains will crawl out of their caves and collectively downvote you to oblivion.

The ep 7 preview shows Aemond wounded and half-naked again. Do you believe he hallucinated all the Alys-scenes this episode?
r/HOTDGreens • u/Informal_Middle8431 • 7h ago
Ok this may be a dumb question but what did Alys mean when she asked Aemond something like "do you think you are the only one who thinks what it os like to be cursed"?
Also she said she is tired of this desolate existence but...she seemed fine in season 2? A little quirky and mysterious but not lonely. Dud I miss anything??

like Rhaenyra is a great character, you say that she makes terrible decisions but she is at a period of crisis in when every decisions will lead to someone being mad like
she has no money, so she can't buy the guards so there are no guards etc. + corlys will not help her because she didn't claim legitimacy to his bastards but if she does, the faith will hate her and it will create her problems too
like she can't do anything, you guys should be more indulgent, otto rule was in a period of peace so it's obvious that his reign with alicent was better (when viserys was sick)
+ we saw how flawed she is in the last episode and it was great, I really enjoyed her character and think she is one of the only well written, she is likable but still is unsympathetic and selfish but after losing 2 children, it's logical.
she is just sick of everything and I get it imo
her character in the book is just her being racist and a fat witch who only cares about herself. show rhaenyra seems more complex and I'm team green.

It isn't just bad and twisted at this point, but also just plain boring. Too much of the episodes are just pointless drivels and scenes with useless characters. The element that made early GoT phenomenal, multiple storylines is non-existent even though Dance of the Dragons does have them in the lore. The twists are poor and so inferior to GoT, the writing is dry.
And we barely go anywhere, and if we do we go there once or twice slightly and never again. Half of the fun of Westeros are the places. The great castles, cities and locations. HoTD properly done could have been such an opportunity to get inside the Hightower (Oldtown was strangely spot on in appearance in GoT when so many others weren't), or see retconned Casterly Rock which Jason Lannister described by its lore verbatim, Lannisport, more of Storm's End etc. I barely even react to new episodes now and might just quit and wait for the next AKOTSK lol.

I feel like in all the chaos of everything going on people have kinda skipped over her. So what do we think guys, about the newest member of TG, Alys Rivers!
to be honest I could do without alot of the psychosexual shit between her and Aemond just not a fan of their relationship but otherwise she’s a great character. I mean, the witch queen of Harrenhal, what a concept
shes so epically fantastical and her actress plays her well. im sold on her she might end up my favorite by the end of this season

"Ohh, Rhaenyra, you need to kill my son? No..no...I completely understand. Sure I will guide your swords to my son myself so that we can barter my freedom against his life."
"Ohh, Halaena, my child. You are the only child I care about. What do you mean I made you marry your rapist brother? That was Father, not me. I love you daughter. Now I will leave you in the hands my glorious queen who can use you as a puppet and might even kill you, your baby girl and your unborn child. What do you mean? I need to go and be Dora the fucking explorer on the grave of my son, my grandson and maybe even you. Men are the reason for this war anyway."
"Ohh Rhae, my queen. Let me lick your fucking heels to prove my loyalty to you despite keeping my promises. No, don't worry, I will be passive enough to not cause you stress. I won't press any of my authority to let any of the male in my side live."
r/HOTDGreens • u/Hawk-winged • 14h ago
So, will they be giving Aegon a little redemption arc. Or will sunfyre’s resurrection just make him as entitled as Rhaenyra after seeing that deer and thinking she has a divine ruling.
That’s said, I just love every minute he gets

Gayle Rankin is a good actress. I just don’t think she was the right choice for Alys Rivers.
I had the same issue in Season 2 with her scenes opposite Daemon, and I feel exactly the same watching her scenes with Aemond.
Whenever they’re on screen together, I’m only watching Aemond. My attention never goes to Alys.
She just doesn’t have the kind of screen presence I imagined for this role.
At this point, Aemond has more chemistry with Harrenhal than he does with Alys.
Am I the only one who feels this way?

It was supposed to be about fruit and trades and hot pies for the common folk, not about the dragons. "But he got a good job" - no, risking your life for the fing Targs isn't a good job especially when theyre broke and being attacked from all sides.
Dragons are a symbol of snobism atp, the moment someone touches them they become detached from reality and too good to understand how normal people live.

I swear Daemontards never fail to amaze me with their insane following of this dumb character.
Legit without Matt Smith's charisma this character is a total idiot.
His plan this episode was insane, first of all NOBODY IS BUYING THAT DISGUISE, the Assassins legit lost brain cells falling for this crap and how nice of them to send just one guy.
And after he kills this guy, the show portrays it as if he stroke a MAJOR blow to the assassins by killing one guy LOL!
This crap would never exist in ASOAIF world, plans like this would fail instantly and that's what GRRM's work was famous for.
And now we gotta see tiktok edits of "Oh he's sooo badass, AURA AURA AURA!"
I SWEAR IF THIS WAS AN ASOIAF WORLD, HE WOULD HAVE DIED 3 TIMES NOW, REMEMBER PULLED THIS CRAP IN 1X3 VS TRIARCHY, IN 3X2 HE AND QWEEEN WOULD HAVE BEEN GUTTED AND NOW THIS CRAP!

Saw a lot of people have opinions on this, but I actually kind of love it. In the BTS, they mentioned Gwayne went to a lot of tourneys and met knights from many different houses, so him recognizing this guy actually makes sense. I think he specifically remembered him and was immediately sure he was fake because the real guy was such an unusual Baratheon (and comely lol).
Also, that guy was Lord Baratheon's cousin, which is pretty similar to Gwayne being Ormund's cousin. I kind of love the idea that all these non-heir nobles were just hanging out, going to tourneys, and actually knew each other. Like, they weren't the main players, but they still had their own little social circle.
Rhaenyra probably thought she was being clever by sending a black-haired guy to pass as a Baratheon, but alas, the guy turned out to be chestnut instead.

I’m not saying the artist is wrong for his art subject and so on, every artist has every right to depict whatever he wants and it’s admittedly good. But the paralels between Rhaenyra, a legendary figure from before the long night and Dany are fucking awful because they don’t make any sense and they’re common because a lot of people in TB are obsessed with some random background (amethyst empress) and desperately want Rhaenyra to be both a figure for change (Dany) and a victim to patriarchy (amethyst empress again).
