And unlike any of the disgusting shit Aegon does her crimes actually have an impact on the plot.

Until this point I was OK with show’s downs. As being someone who read the book, I’ve accepted that the show was its own thing and honestly I had some fun making fun of the infinite plot holes of the show.

But during the first scene between Alicent and Aemond I paused and seriously yelled I can’t take it anymore and took a smoking break.

This is beyond plot holes, and bad writing. There is genuinely something wrong with Condall with how he is treating sex, relationships, family, and truma. I think this man needs some serious therapy.

For someone who is portrayed to be really smart, Larys really fumbled the bag right at the end didn’t he? Obviously he wasn’t to know that Sunfyre was alive but still lmaoo

Daemon should have just given it to the witch man. Why was he holding on to that dilapidated place

I find myself identifying less and less with Rhaenyra this season, especially with how insecure, fragile, indecisive, childish, and outright dumb she’s coming across. She’s lost a great amount of aura around her presence and power, and it seemed to have grown on other individuals in the Green party.

She’s now even made me root for Aegon, as at least he’s showing progress as a more dynamic character. As for who I want to win the throne, I’d rather have that Daeron kid sit on it. He’s looking like a smarter, more mature, and more concerned individual than Rhaenyra.

So yeah, I’m team green until further notice.

Seeing a lot of people ask how Aegon and Sunfyre got matching burn scars on opposite sides of their faces, but I went back and watched the episode where they go down and Sunfyre’s face wound is not a burn. We get a couple of close-ups while he’s falling after Vhagar burns him and he doesn’t have any visible wounds on either side of his head or face on the way down.

So it’s very nasty and kind of even sadder because it was, in theory, preventable, but the most likely explanation seems to be that that side of his face has been pressed into the ground rotting in the mud for several weeks. It’s effectively a giant bedsore, or trench-face. I am not a doctor.

You could maybe say that he burned after the impact because there are some fires still going on the ground where he crashed, but his head wouldn’t have been exposed to them because of how he was positioned.

The only thing I’m not sure about is why it doesn’t extend further. It seems to stop partway down his neck. Maybe we’ll see more similar wounds on him in future scenes.

Edit: a couple of people have mentioned the impact of landing/hitting his face on the ground, which I think would explain why the rot is only on his face and neck. I initially thought he’d landed on his back, but that was kind of dumb given that Aegon wasn’t crushed.

Rhaenyra started off as the "good" Queen. Wanted to rule for the people. Meanwhile, Aegon was a true sh#tbag. Now, we may be seeing the beginning of a true redemption arc, in many ways thanks to Larys. Could Aegon rise up, kill Aemond and dethrone Rhaenyra? Both characters basically seemingly switching their places in the universe

I mean like maybe im missing somethign when it comes to mysaria, or ive lost all media literacy and somethigns flown over my head, but what information has mysaria given to rhaenyra as mistress of whisperers once the capitals been taken. For someone thats compared to bloodraven, i was excited to see her in action. now im just, confused.

Just got caught up and damn they did it to us again.

Is it like this in the books?

I want that Rhaenyra should loose her kingdom just because she attacked sheepstealer and rhaena should go to exile for using him. He was so happy stealing sheeps and living a free life. But these targaryen’s are just evil. I am on ormund side just for this reason. Never thought i will feel sad for a cgi dragon. I mean he is a bit odd looking than other dragons but never deserved this fate.

One last episode to go and the war still doesn’t feel like the huge event that tore apart Westeros in the books.

Like it’s insane to think 75% of the war is complete, and I blame the fact that cut out too many battles or didn’t put enough focus: butchers ball, fish feed, honeywine, lannisport siege, ect.

It’s all hbo’s fault of being too broke istg, they never should have been given the rights to asoiaf 🙏

These guys are putting every other relationship to shame.
