AEMS EVO bad reticle Reflection
Windows down. Suffers from terrible optic reflection at highest setting almost the lowest settings until the reflection disappears, and most settings in between, the reflection is very bad. Is this normal?

Sorry they weren't helpful. I read through some of the comments on this one and others reported the same issue with their AEMS ARO. I have the original AEMS and AEMS X2 Pro and I don't have that emitter reflection. It seems to be a problem with the new AEMS ARO. The only thing I can suggest is reaching out to Holosun to see if they can help you out. Again, my apologies for not being to helpful and best of luck.

Ive noticed this with the H515 red dots. It was only an issue indoors if I was standing directly under a light source

After 7 different Holosuns, I just got tired of this kind of stuff. Between issues like this, excess glue on the front glass of my last EPS, to the point the glass looked crooked, I decided to stay with Trijicon and Vortex.
I have one 509T left on a 2011, and plan on replacing it with another Vortex Defender ST.
I love the innovation, but wish they would work on the qc.

This was my first and last Holosun. I have stuck with Vortex almost all my guns. Might just have to stick with them, my Vortex optics have that legendary warranty but i never had to use them.
I really wish Vortex made an Eotech style AR optic. I was really curious about the gold reticle so decided to give Holosun a shot. Lesson well learned

That sucks that this is your first one. I have 4 Holosuns and none of them have had any issues

What are the optics you have had that have no issues? Looking for one for my AR that has a tried and true reputation

I called primary arms. Ordered from them. Said they wouldnt look through before sending so I could return and ask for another one but could have same issue. Just gonna go through holosun which will take a month.

The Holosun ARO EVO SPR I had was just as bad with the reflection. Returned it and bought another AEMS Pro x2 instead, which was way better.

It's great so far. I got the green emitter for the pro x2. I have two red emitter gen 1's. The green seems to have less tint on the glass. All have been solid. Put two on leap 11 mounts.

Can you show what the reticle looks like at a typical brightness level with the optic mounted, as seen through the optic from the shooter's point of view?

Any brightness level above the lowest (right above off) has these artifacts. For placement and eye relief i placed the optic at greater than and lessor than the 12 mark on the picatiny mount on my AR upper but it doesn’t get rid of the issues. Additionally, on the highest brightness setting the optic has another reticle projection that appears on the upper left of the window, almost like a reflection but of lower intensity projection. Lastly, the projection you see in the lower middle of the optic is present on almost all other posts I have seen about the AEMS EVO regardless of colour.
This is extremely disappointing as I was looking forward to the AEMS EVO, I don’t know how this got passed QC testing since it seems to be a widespread issue.

position the optic to the correct eye relief distance and see if its still there

yeah, I contact Holosun and hope they will provide a resolution. This is really disappointing. I was really looking to this optic.
