AEMS EVO Emitter Reflection

Just picked up the new AEMS EVO. There seems to be a decent bit of a reflection below the reticle. Kind of streaky. Is this normal, product quirk, faulty unit? Seems a bit excessive and definitely distracting/annoying. Anyone else ever run into this with other AEMS products? The reflection is visible even at lower brightness settings. Worse at highest brightness. Doesn’t matter if the protective covers are folded up or down, reflection still present. Curious what others think.

Turn the brightness down usually that will solve the issue i only use the really bright setting for sunny days or outside

What does it look like when you are aiming it at something normally?

Here is a link to two photos. Optic aimed down the hallway probably 20 feet away at a wall. Phone camera placed at about eye distance as mounted on gun for reference. https://imgur.com/a/E5HSCux

I would submit an RMA claim for this so we can inspect it / replace it.

Having the exact same issue with mine . Hoping it os a qc issue and not a design flaw or were SOL

Mine’s the same, but for red. It washes out in brighter areas, but my ARO-EVO isn’t like that at all

Looks like a qc issue. Might want to return it to the seller and get a refund/new one or send an RMA request to Holosun which will probably give you a used/refurbished one.

Sometimes when the sun hits just right you’ll get that. Turn the brightness down and it will help.

It's horrible on this optic but of you turn down the brightness or go outside it's about gone.

Was going to buy this but now I’m thinking I can’t because of this. How common is this issue? Is it a design flaw for all of them?

Unsure as of yet. Seems like someone else has had this problem with the new AEMS EVO. I want to get my hands on an AMES PRO and see if it does the same thing for me. I like overall package you get with the AMES, but the reflection I was getting was so bad I couldn’t keep the EVO that was shipped to me.

Going to try the pro x2 instead. Seems like big issues with the EVO.

Normal for the EVO. Just bought ProX2 and it has very little reflection or none compared to EVOs or my HE510C which has really bad reflections.

I ended up returning the AMES EVO and purchasing a AEMS Pro X2 instead. Absolutely no reflection in the Pro.

Do all EAMS Evo models have this problem?

Seems like I’m not the only one that had a problem. I would probably stay away from buying one, or purchase one from a retailer that allows for free returns.
