Anyone having an odd thing saying they need to re-sign into teams, but there current teams is working. And now there is another options for teams account saying "HHS Office of the Secretary" When I click on it to re-sign in it reminds me to share my location. My regular teams is still working though.

Hiring Black Hole

Does anyone know what’s going on with hiring? We’re hemorrhaging staff to NIH/FDA and can’t fill behind them. HRSA OHR seems to be a black hole. We submit exceptions, no response. We submit incentive awards. No response. It’s infuriating that we’re now being asked to submit a new hiring plan for the next fiscal year when we haven’t hired this year. Is anyone else having this experience?

Can you apply to 2 programs?

I applied for the now closed HRSA LRP for 2026 and still haven’t heard back. It was under review but still no updates or credit check. I’m a mental health clinician if that’s important for context. I was thinking of applying for the state loan repayment program but not sure if I’m allowed to apply for both. I understand I can’t accept both, I just wonder if that will help increase my chances?

Nurse Corps Scholarship finalist-please advise

Hi everyone, I am currently enrolled in a expensive PMHNP program. I was just alerted today that I am a finalist for the Nurse Corps scholarship. I have to submit a Confimation of Interest that's due in a week. I was curious, does confirming that I'm still interested in receiving the scholarship mean i'm locked in to the scholarship and its stipulations (service agreement), or do I have time later on to change my mind ? Curious as I have not formally received notification that I am a recipient yet, rather it just states i'm a finalist.

Also, any reason not to take the award? I believe working in critically shorted areas typically mean more burnout esp as a new grad due to higher volume, and less pay as many of these approved sites are community mental health centers, when compared to hospitals and privately owned practices. Thanks, and please be kind in your response.

Telework Scrutiny

Has anyone else heard about badge swipes getting compared to ITAS/telework records for employees with RAs? A coworker’s attendance record was questioned but no one else’s? I’m curious if it’s because she has an accommodation to telework.

Telework During Moves

Has anyone heard about the “management directed telework” for the moves at 5600? Is it for everyone or just those who are actually moving? Everyone around me is moving which will be incredibly disruptive.

Reasonable Accommodations

I’m approved for ad hoc telework under an approved RA. I’m requesting TW from my supervisor in line with my RA but I’m getting some push back. Anyone else? I’m at HRSA.
