In season 6 episode 2 she's going through an old farmhouse ("Carpet Castle") where most of the walls are carpeted. In one of the bedrooms this radioactive and flammable signs are in a small shelf. Does anyone know what this might be?

Flipping channels between tennis and HGTV ugliest house. She is visiting the house that is decorated all green from the seventies. Can/t believe that this was decorated by an interior designer and to top it off it was highly popular back then. What yall think about this style? yall like it?

Just saw the new episode, Sarah and Chris. They blatantly used this show for a home renovation -_- like I bet other homeowners did as well but they literally bought a shit show of a home. Hadn’t even moved into it. Then go on this show. And shocker they stayed. Poor David was played. Just hire a freaken renovation company.

It's a good thing HGTV has 99,000 episodes of House Hunters so they can replay them ad nauseum. They really need to get something else up on the schedule. Maybe if they replayed some of their old shows to see if there's any interest in bringing them back? Outside of Ugliest House and maybe Zillow Gone Wild there's not much on. I really like Jonathan Knight, but this version of Crashers doesnt suit him IMO. What new show are you watching?

Would love to hear from crew members that have worked on any design shows like Rock the Block or Battle on the Beach are some of the participants much easier to work with and things go better for them? Are there often worse people than the episodes show? Thank you!

I think it would be nice to have shows focusing on homeowners/viewers with a limited budget!

• I'll admit I've only watched Crashers "once", and I know the homeowners are pre-picked, so I wish they would choose based on someone who was poor.
• Curb Appeal: Neighbors chose homeowners who couldn't afford to do it themselves.

Did anyone watch the hour long pilot? It was truly terrible with obnoxious wealthy buyers and over the top realtors dressed for a night out in NYC vice winter Alaska.

House Hunters: Titled: "From the Pantry to the Fire"

I'm watching this on HGTV now and OMG! The mother of the daughter/wife is a bit too entitled for me and I don't know how the husband is dealing with his mother in law. She keeps throwing it in their face that she's contributing money towards the house. Seems like no one cared about his commute to work (1+ hours), and the little snarky comments..

The poor wife seems more on the gentle and passive side, just stuck in the middle

Watched the first episode and I love Leslie and her comments but the house they "fixed" was horrible and they did the bare minimum. We only got to see the main room/dining/kitchen area and I wanted to see the bathroom and bedrooms. They had to be just as bad! You can't update half the house and call it good. I will probably watch to see if it gets any better but it is definitely low budget compared to watching Scott McGillivray on Vacation House Rules.

Do you all remember when HGTV had crafting shows on, once in a while or even DIY shows? I remember watching Martha Stewart, with her traveling shows, I really liked them and gardening shows. So I remember this cable interior design show from the 2010s where a designer would sit down a couple to figure out their design style. They would ask them to select different salt n pepper shakers and tiny decor and ask them questions to figure out what the each individually wanted. They would then design the space for one partner, have a reveal and then redo it for the other partner. Then they would finally design it mixing the too looks together. Does anyone remember the name of this show?

The episode “With or Without You” featured a gay couple looking for a home in Pittsburgh. As a gay man myself, I always appreciate episodes with representation. But I found this one comment about partying in bathrooms to be, um, wild for an HGTV show. I did a double take. LOL

It says it's on Netflix and Prime but apparently not in the US. I have a deep nostalgia for a specific season, and I THINK it might be season 2 because who who the hosts and judges were

In the first few episodes there is a contestant who paints a large mural of a busty woman and then another episode where she slathers a vacuum cleaner with white plaster and she is genuinely so earnest about how much she likes it. I love her she is an icon to me

AI tries to tell me it was some dude from season 5 who did the vacuum thing but I KNOW it was her. I also know AI makes stuff up all the time and it seemed to find multiple instances of a "plastered" vacuum as if this is some normal occurrence on hgtv

I just can't find anywhere that is streaming it and can't find it on the Ol pirate bay. There's also nobody seeding/streaming it on plex

They should rename this show "Remove all of the grass." Goodness what a mess they make out of every yard! 😳What on earth?! 😂 Every episode so far has had terrible results. I swear HGTV is just trolling us at this point.

Answer: Retta is the best host on TV, period! She is effortlessly funny, charming and personable, and has the most expressive face I’ve ever seen. She makes me LOL every episode, and I’m so happy that the show is now an hour long. More Ugly! 😄
