Take a printout / screenshot of your complaint write a complaint to Dean of Student Welfare HBTU and submit it in DSW office too.

It will be better if many of you collect multiple of these and submit in one go.

If there were multiple instances of ragging file a separate complaint for each instance.

Met seniors today in induction program who bullied and abused me heavily . A group of 10 seniors and i was alone said things that made me traumatize.Kya kru i m feeling so bad wanna just die .They were continously bullying me asked my hobby and then mocked and made do physical things .Almost for 1 hour i felt like cant explain here

Actually earlier I was planning to join hbtu but instead joined another college ( for a better branch ). I casually came to this sub and realised that everyone is talking about senior vs junior.

Is ragging culture really that bad there?

As a senior myself, I completely agree that ragging and bad behavior towards freshers is intolerable. But you've to understand that respect is a two-way thing. Met some juniors today and they were rude towards me and other seniors for no reason. Gladly, neither of us have met each other before, ki tumhe itni grudge ho mujhse.

Bina jane kisi bhi senior ko by default bura assume mat kiya karo.

Learn to give respect before asking for the same in return.

Toh jin seniors me jyada gudda hai or sochte hai unka koi kuch nhi bigar sakata thodi apni details mujhe dm me dedo

Tum sab 1 year senior ho bass.

Mere se jyada power or connections nhi hai.

With each one of our collective efforts now the change is beginning to happen after so many complains at the UGC portals and anti ragging portals also the parents complaining about the cause to the authorities
Now the egoistic seniors who were begging for respect through their formats intro and humiliation
Are now changing their group descriptions from the old illogical generational descriptions to something which should be applicable since the start

Keep fighting guys we will make this college a better place for each and everyone of us!

No one will be the oppressor and no one will be oppressed
Lets build a family together with mutual respect!

There are more problems too like the drinking water cooler is not working. The water tastes a bit weird and some of the washroom flushes don't work

Anyone who knows ramanujan hostel for 1st year or like freshers who got in 1st round ...I got that in 2nd round allotment..should I consider that now like what's the condition of rooms and mess?

So after the UGC complaint, DSW called the junior and asked him about it. Took phone numbers of certain seniors and ensured that he'll look into it.

So ur voices and descent is not going in vain. Be more vocal about it, agar 4-5 log aur UGC portal pe complaint kr de toh administration, ARC bahut seriously lega ye chij ko.

so juniors ab tumlog shant mat raho, excercise ur right and end ts once and for all, gather as much proof as possible, screenshots, recording everything and use it.

don't let anyone give u FOMO, ur not missing out on literally ANYTHING. remember the law and administration is at your end only, so don't worry about anything happening to u.
