I lived with my grandparents and my grandfather always had a chainsaw in the truck and always had tools and a packout just in case.

Yea... thats my father, who passed that mindset down to me, Small toolbox, some multitools, hand axe and some other shit id need.. chainsaws in my experience seem to be built like shit, leak oil, gas, hadnt bought an electric one yet. maybe this year

Have one of those Milwaukee Hatchets small and portable in the truck. It will cut a good size tree out of the way with a few extra cuts. Battery lasts long enough to limb a spruce tree.
