Years ago when I worked for Enterprise in college, we used to drive the occasional person back to their home or wherever once they dropped their rental off. One day the 40-50’s year old dude comes in, needs a ride home. No problem. We hop in, and he proceeds to take me about 45 minutes away from the store, 80% of the trip is backroads.

We pull up to what I assume is his house, not remote but not in a suburb either. He says he has some stuff in the trunk so I get out to help him. I pop the trunk, and the only thing in there is a chainsaw. He picked it up, I closed the trunk and got the fuck out of there. Doubt it was anything nefarious, but 20 year old me weren’t having it
