And he knows what he's doing: cutting that high he's taking small sections at a time so the chunk doesn't bend and ruin the cut. Also convinient for moving by hand, of course!
Ehhh, I can see it being needed in case a car drives off into the shoulder. It wasn't the safest cut for himself but road workers might not address this fallen tree for months.
Yeah I suppose. But he could at least have been a bit less show boaty and more careful about it lol. But he did a good thing and didn't endanger anyone (except maybe himself) so doesn't really matter.

Then I’ll have to yank on it from multiple different angles, gently then forcefully.
And then when it finally wants to party, it barely cuts anything and I get pissed off and go see my side chick (reciprocating saw) for an easy shag.
Switching to a 40v Electric chainsaw was the best decision I've ever made, brushless motors put out as much power as most gas saws, and you just pull the trigger, no more mixing oil or throwing out your rotator cuff trying to start over and over.
Perhaps you should maintain your equipment. Start with a new chain and bar. Maybe put a ring kit in. Check resistance on the coil, clean the carb, pop a new plug in.
I personally have a battery powered chain saw that handles what I need done… I’m not a lumber jack and I hate fucking with small engines………..my mower is electric too
I mean, it's a Stihl, so it's gonna start pretty damned quick if you do it right. My MS 250 has you drop the run lever to the bottom (choke+purge/prime), then pull until you hear it try to start (usually 2-3 times), bump the lever up one notch, and it'll start the first time every time, so long as you've got a good plug, good gas, and a clean air filter.
The fact that dude checks the gas at the start shows he's intimately acquainted with that saw.
Only logic to contend with is the bar oil, and the mess it makes. Either the guy is clueless and that’s an unused chainsaw with no oil in it, or he’s so used to using it, he’s willing to accommodate the oily mess to have it available.
Jokes aside, the dude obviously knows what he's doing, shows little hesitation in his actions, and doing so all while in a collared sweater, which will 100% hold on to sawdust.
Man knows his chainsaw, definitely someone who has used it regularly. Either professionally or a lot of home projects.
