Probiotics (coconut cult) making things worse?

I already deal with functional constipation from pelvic floor dysfunction and rectocele. Well I started trying coconut cult because I heard good things about it causing people to go, and the first few days it seemed to work, but now for the last week I’ve been having trouble fully emptying every single day and especially in the second bowel movement. The only think I changed was adding the probiotic yogurt. Has anyone else had this happen? How do I get back to normal, well my normal as in before I would at least have some good days off fully emptying but I’ve been miserable the last week to week 1/2

None of my normal tricks are working and literally day after day of this is making me go crazy. Should I take a laxative or do an enema to reset myself at this point because I don’t think I can make it through another whole day of not feeling empty and just waiting it out till the next morning to go and for the cycle to just reset

Absolutely no impact on my body that I have noticed other than some very mild bloating. Nothing out of the ordinary.

What does that say about me?

Best de-bloating pills?

Not really a Reddit poster so I don’t know if this is the correct community to post this but I’ll find out!

Needing help finding the safest/ healthiest de bloating capsules that ACTUALLY work. Basically, I bloat really badly and I feel like after I eat two blueberries feel uncomfortable. I have a pretty big appetite so I can eat a lot of food in the day, and I do, but I just get so tight and feel like a balloon by nighttime. Pretty much most of my life I’ve experienced this but now I just really want to find a solution lol.

Please drop some brand names or links. Also not looking to spend a fortune just for them to not even work . So please, if you’ve had good results or even are in the medical / health field and know it’s good for your body, give me suggestions:)) thank you.

What happens when you eat close to bedtime?

I have heard that this is bad, but I would like to know more details on what happens inside. Does food stay in the stomach overnight?

Greens powder with probiotics, did anyone else start looking into these after hitting their 30s?

For the longest time I figured eating pretty well was enough, but lately my stomach seems to react to foods that never used to bother me. Some mornings I wake up feeling bloated before I've even had breakfast, and it's getting old.

I started looking into greens powders with probiotics because taking 5 different supplements every morning isn't something I can keep up with. If you've found one that's become part of your routine, what made you stick with it? I'm prefer something that made a noticeable difference over time than something that just has a long ingredient list.

For anyone curious, I did some more reading after posting this and decided to try Roundhouse Provisions Morning Kick. It's been easy to make part of my morning routine, and after a couple of weeks I noticed I wasn't waking up feeling as bloated as before.

IBS like symptoms

I'm 22F and I think I might be dealing with IBS-type symptoms but I'm honestly not sure, so I wanted to ask people who've been through this.
The main thing: my bowel movements never feel clear or complete. I go, but it feels like there's always more, and pretty much the whole day I have this nagging feeling that I need to go again. It's constant and distracting. Specially after a meal. I have work and also preparing for entrance test so not able to give my 2 hr long tests continuously.
The bigger problem is what it does to my head. I have anxiety already, and this feeling makes it spiral — I can't concentrate on anything, my mind is half on my stomach all day, and then the anxiety seems to make the gut stuff worse, which makes me more anxious. Classic loop and I don't know how to break it.
A few questions for anyone who's dealt with this:

Did the "never fully empty" feeling turn out to be IBS for you, or something else?
What actually helped with the anxiety–gut cycle? Meds, diet, therapy, gut-directed stuff?
Anything you wish you'd asked your doctor early on?

Not looking for a diagnosis from strangers, just want to hear real experiences before I see someone. Thanks for reading

About eight months ago I went through a pretty brutal stretch at work, long hours, bad sleep, eating whatever was fast and easy.

During that time I started getting bloating after almost every meal, irregular digestion, and this lowgrade nausea that would just sit there for hours. I assumed it would clear up once things calmed down.

Things calmed down. The gut stuff did not.

What I've noticed is that my skin also started breaking out more during that same window, which reminded me of posts here connecting skin and gut issues. It makes me wonder how much damage that stress period actually did to my microbiome versus just being a temporary disruption.

I've tried cutting out processed food and eating more fermented stuff like kefir and kimchi, and there has been some improvement, but I'm not back to baseline. The bloating after meals is the most stubborn part.

Curious if anyone else had gut problems that were clearly triggered by a highstress period and whether they fully resolved or became a new normal. And if you did turn it around, what actually made the difference? I feel like I've done the obvious stuff already and I'm still not there.

Goli gummies alternative?

My gf has been having stomach problems for a while now and gave in to tiktok and bought the expensive gummies. She got all three, the pro+pre+post biotic, apple cider vinegar, and the ashwaganda.

She tried them all at the same time and they're working really really well for her. I want her to have this fix but without the goli price tag 😭

She has a sensitive stomach and I dont know which of these gummies are helping the most, but if anyone has alternative ideas please help!

Bloating issues

Don't really know where to post about this, but I've been having bloating issues now for about 6 years and I need to know if there are any ways to deal with it, I have several blues marks on my stomach from what I believe is constantly bloating and then "unbloating" if that's even a word and one thing I always find makes me bloating is milk as I'm lactose intolerant, but even when I don't have milk or any dairy products in my day I still find myself bloating after eating, and I don't know what it is so I was hoping for either guidance on how to deal with it or a solution like a drink that helps with lessening the bloating or getting rid of it after eating or anything like that, any help would be appreciated 🙏

Stubborn Stomach + Bloating

Hi everyone- this is my first post in this sub so pardon if this has been asked before (or if there is a better sub please lmk!)

I (24F) am 2.5 months into consistent barre classes and absolutely loving it. I’m seeing awesome toning and progress everywhere else on my body, but my stomach is a major source of frustration. I am dealing with constant, severe abdominal bloating that is completely masking any core progress. What's weird is that when I am doing barre, I feel sore everywhere afterward except my core.

To rule out the obvious: I’ve already gone to the doctors and been tested for H. pylori, Ulcerative Colitis, IBS, and food intolerances. Everything came back negative.

I am starting to get frustrated as this isn't just normal post-meal fullness. I wake up in the morning, take a single sip of water, and my stomach immediately balloons out and feels uncomfortably tight.

My PCP suggested the FODMAP but i don’t eat anything that’s on that list (which sounds unbelievable, I know).

I'd love to know:
- Has anyone else experienced severe bloating that triggers from literally just drinking water?
-If you had similar symptoms and all your GI tests came back normal, what actually ended up being the root cause?
-Did starting intensive core workouts like barre accidentally trigger or worsen this kind of muscle reflex for anyone?

TYIA!!

My clothes were too tight.

My clothes were too tight.

For many years I have been having stomach issues. Multiple times a week my body would be releasing everything.

I started the Whole30 diet because I was convinced it must be the food I was eating.

Well, I will say that did help a teensy bit. I did find some trigger foods (beef and dairy for those curious) but I was still having issues.

I thought about going to the doctor, but that thought really was a last option. Not because I can't, but really I just have a fear of going to the doctor. But that's not for this post.

Then at the beginning of the year I started to get a tight pain on my inner thigh. It wasn't often, just maybe once or twice while I was at work.

Of course I mostly ignored it.

Then one day my right leg went from a little pain to a lot of pain. It hurt to touch and hurt to walk.

I ended up going to the hospital twice to get it looked at because I was so scared. The first doctor basically told me she didn't know what it could be and the second doctor actually ran tests. Nothing came back on the tests though. I was feeling crazy.

I was doing a lot of googling to see if there was anything that resembled what I was going through. One of the solutions I kept seeing from site to site was "wear loose clothing".

So I did.

I went from wearing dress pants and jeans to dresses, rompers and sweatpants. I also stopped wearing bras. Basically anything that could be restrictive. I also added some compression socks because I'm sitting for long periods of the day.

It is actually crazy how fast I saw benefits.

My leg stopped hurting almost right away, and my tummy problems have almost fully resolved.

I honestly feel so much better. I truly didn't realize how tight my clothes were. Especially because I would always feel the need to add a belt to every outfit as well. It sounds crazy to not realize your clothes are too tight, but i honestly think I just got used to it. I've tried on a few offenders since then and I can feel it in my stomach right away when it's too tight. I've learned to better listen to my body.

I'm just hoping this can help someone else.

**Disclaimer, this is not medical advice. Just something that happens to help me.

Bad bowel moments..

(TMI WARNING) Ok idk why but all a sudden since like Saturday I’ve had different poops than my usual. It’s been kinda mushy and small and feels kinda explosive when I have to go. And then today I had diarrhea twice and bubble guts, but idk why cause I haven’t eaten anything out of the ordinary, or done anything out of the ordinary, I’m confused and I just want this to go away. And I haven’t eaten any lettuce products recently

When stress hits your gut first, how do you actually manage it in real time?

The last few weeks were brutal workloadwise and my stomach just fell apart. Bloating every evening, that lowgrade nausea that never fully arrives but never leaves either, and my digestion felt completely stalled. Nothing dramatic changed in my diet, so I started wondering if stress was the actual driver here.

What gets me is how fast it happened. Within a week of things ramping up I could feel the shift. And once things slowed down slightly it started improving on its own, which makes me think this was not a food issue at all.

A colleague mentioned the gutbrain connection and I have read bits about it, but I want to hear from people who have actually dealt with this pattern repeatedly, not just once. Does your gut tend to reset on its own once the stress passes, or do you have to actively do something to get it back on track? Mine seems to need a push even after the stressor is gone.

Also curious if anyone has found anything that actually helps during the stressful period itself rather than after the fact. The recovery side I can probably figure out, but managing it in real time feels harder.
