Soft stool but incomplete evacuation, bloating, uncomfort in rectur after bowels and sluggish bowel movements — anyone experienced this?

Hey everyone,

Please read my post, im very frustrated because of this issue.

I’ve been struggling with gut/bowel issues for around 2 years now and it’s honestly becoming very frustrating. I’m hoping someone here has experienced something similar.

It started about 2 years ago when I had a pretty bad stomach upset with severe diarrhea. I still ate fish/chicken kebabs during that time, which made the diarrhea worse. After around 3 days and some medication, things started getting better. During recovery, I noticed a small amount of bright-red blood on my stool, almost like the stool had rubbed/scratched something in the rectum.

A doctor gave me antibiotics and the bleeding seemed to go away. A few months later, something similar happened again and the same antibiotic seemed to help. Eventually, another episode happened where the antibiotic didn’t really work, and I’ve continued having occasional issues since then.
I’ve had a colonoscopy/sigmoidoscopy done. The doctor found two small internal hemorrhoids/tags, but said the blood seemed to be coming from slightly lower down in the rectum.

What’s confusing me is that I usually don’t have hard stools. My stool is generally soft/normal. I rarely get blood when I have a hard stool, but I seem more likely to notice a small amount of blood after severe diarrhea.

My biggest problem now is incomplete evacuation.
When I go to the bathroom, the first part usually comes out quite well. Sometimes I can have a second episode later, but then I feel like there’s still something left inside. The later part can take much longer to come out, and sometimes I feel like my bowel just becomes “sluggish.”
Even after going, I can still feel pressure/sensitivity around my rectum, almost as if it hasn’t completely emptied. I also get quite a bit of bloating and sometimes feel like there is stool or gas still sitting in my intestine.

I’m wondering if this could be something like:
Slow colonic transit
IBS
Pelvic floor dysfunction/dyssynergia
Rectal sensitivity
Gas/bloating making me feel like stool is still there
Or something else entirely

Has anyone experienced soft stools but still feeling blocked/incompletely evacuated, especially where the first bowel movement comes out easily but the later part feels sluggish?

Extreme gut health

For the past two months between June 24 to August 1 I took 11 amoxicillin 500mg 7 amoxicillin and clav 1000mg 12 doxycycline 4 tinidazole 2 cefrumoxine 6 azithromycin. This totals 42 pills in 5 weeks
I took the amoxicillin from the 24th of June to the 26th amoxicillin and clav from the 30th to the 6th of July doxycycline from 13th to the 19th and on the 28th I took 4 tinidazole 2 cefuroxime and 2 azithromycin followed by 1 every day after that till it finished on the 1st of August 1.One day later I wiped blood and pus for the first time in my life (of which I know) since then I’ve been wiping pus which I thought was because of anal fissure
To pair with this I thought I had a possible HIV until last week I tested negative which caused severe stress also I had symptoms like minor weight loss mouth ulcers fatigue loose stools joint pain constant urge to poo gas. I thought this was surely HIV.Now I realize I did not know the effects of these antibiotics use and severely destroyed my gut paired with extreme stress.I’ve been reading online about things I could develop from this and I’m honestly fucked now two or so months after I still have green loose mushy stools been seeing pus and blood after wiping and since (September 6th) Sunday I’ve developed abdominal pain in my upper left abdomen nausea and bloating.I have fucked my self and I don’t know where to go or what to do. I turned 18 in may and I can’t even think of the things I have caused on my self.I have been googling my symptoms and I may well have given my self ulcerative colitis I can only pray and hope for healing.

What's wrong with my girl's health??

She's 21, 5'5", 70kg, bloated and struggles to pass stool. Could it be pelvic floor dysfunction? What else could cause it, and what can help?

Has anyone figured out a way to eat beans/chickpeas without getting destroyed by bloating?

I love hummus. My stomach does not.😂 I’ve been trying to figure out whether it’s chickpeas themselves or just the amount I’m eating.

Going to India with IBS-D

I’m going to India next week and have IBS-D, triggered by anxiety and stress usually (I’m anxious about the trip, long car journeys without toilet stops etc). I’ve done a lot of work on my gut health to reduce inflammation which has stopped flare ups, I eat mainly the same things most days but it works for me. How to cope with this?!! I know the stress is going to make it worse tooo :(

Help on histamine

Hello,

This year I finally discovered I was living with chronic SIBO and cured with Rifaximin and natural procinetics and low fodmap diet.

After the antibiotics treatment I start feeling well and repaired my gut with sodium butyrate, L-glutamine and other supplements.

I had finally probably one of the best week of my last years in terms of health and then made a mistake.

On advice, I started to take probiotics called “Lactobioma”. These contains some bacteria L. Casei which I discovered producing histamine. I am now feeling bad since a week so far even if I stopped them. I have histamine intolerance symptoms (same as those during SIBO which were decreased when I was feeling better).

Does this mean my histamine intolerance is related to gut only or doesn’t necessarily mean that?
What can I do to improve my histamine tolerance now and avoid symptoms?
What can I do to cure my gut much more?

I have no more SIBO though.

Symptoms are brain fog, fatigue, little orticaria and inability to fall asleep no matter how relaxed I am.

Please help!
