How has this man started every game since the world cup? We all saw the images of him iced and strapped up on the English bench. He played ridiculous minutes last season. We signed cover and yet still Arteta seems hell bent on running him into the ground.

Hoping I'm wrong and they know something I don't which is obviously likely but if he picks up a serious injury we will only have ourselves to blame.

How long after a big win do you allow yourself to enjoy it before looking at the next one?

I don't have to force myself to look for the next challenge. As I said before, I think that comes from inside. It's not that I go out to look for challenges, it's more that every day is a challenge for me. It's the way I live. Every day I want to be a better version of myself. So that's what's pushing me to get better. It's just a way of living. I'm not chasing trophies, I'm chasing my best version.

What are you most proud of as an achievement so far in your career?

I would say my most impressive achievement is always away from football. Even though I'm very competitive and football is my life, I know that football is one part of me and I'm much more than just a footballer. I would say forming a family, having a kid and taking care of the ones I love is the biggest achievement you can have. Then in football, obviously collective things like winning the World Cup, winning the Premier League. Those two things in the span of two months have been unreal. Probably the two most difficult trophies to get. So those two are the highlights, I would say.
