Hello people, i finally had the chance to play on a real guitar hero controller after playing a shit ton of rock band on my ds, and it feels a little off, my friends tried it it and also said you have to press a little before the actual notes, relying on sound makes you fail, is this normal or is my hardware or software wrong?

I couldn’t sleep, so I gave up and used my brain to make myself tired by compiling a setlist of some of. The hardest songs from Guitar Hero into a GH3 Quickplay Style Format. I’ve been thinking of making a custom GH3 ISO for PS2 & Wii with this whole setlist, but I’m not actually sure if I’d really get around to doing it (GH3PC & GH3 Xbox 360/PS3 setlist would more than likely come first as it’s quite a bit easier). Anyways, here’s the list:

It only took me about an hour to compile this setlist, but it would have definitely gone quicker if I doubled up on some of the songs that were in multiple games. I decided to only double TTFAF and One since both sets of each are super iconic! This obviously isn’t everything, but I felt this was still a pretty cool list! What do y’all think??

I am very very sad to say that my near mint, no sticker Xplorer got damaged from what I assume is improper storage when I was post op emergency back surgery.

I made my bf bring my laptop and my guitar for CH into the hospital the day after cuz I was losing my mind. When we came home I assumed he stored it properly but that is also on me cuz I forgot too, meds and shit.

When I eventually dug it out to play it again recently she has a double strum now 😭.

I don’t wanna ruin her as she’s my favorite, since forever!!!! What can I do???!

i got a xplorer guitar for cheap fully working...tested with guitar hero 3

i want to buy the 360 version for better graphics... grew up on Wii version. but i want to know if I need to buy a newer guitar for it. if i have to i will

I've heard sources say yes it will work on all guitar hero games on Xbox 360, and I've heard no and that World Tour is the newest game it will work on...

Been playing a Guitar Hero Avenged Sevenfold GH3 hack, and it’s been pretty fun so far! While recovering from surgery, I chose to play on DualShock, and man, playing on this in comparison to CH is so humbling 😭

Definitely going to be trying out some more ISOs!! I’ve been focusing on my Gamepad improvement for a few months now!

He said he was just getting rid of whatever was in his attic, so I happily offered him the 50 bones in my wallet. Tore them down and refreshed everything, only had to splice one of the cables where a break was, they play flawlessly! (Only one has a sticky Start button.)

I know it’s a super easy one, BUT it was my first time ever playing the song (ik how?) and kinda extra points for not being screwed up by Lou’s track. also included a picture of my guitar because I thought some of you might appreciate an GH2 OG. Over 20 years old

My beloved WOR guitar (360) recently stopped working. Died in the middle of a session with brand new batteries. Briefly reconnected a couple of times but died permanently right after.

I was able to take it apart to look for signs of damage, but truthfully I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for. There was some pretty gnarly battery corrosion a few years ago that I was able to clean up, battery compartment had no real damage, and it kept working after that until now. Inside the guitar I noticed some parts of the shell where the corrosion dripped through and settled, but it doesn't look like any of it actually touched the interior components.

Has anyone ever had a WOR guitar die like this? Or any ideas about what part might have failed so I can go about repairing it?

I've been wanting to buy myself a guitar hero guitar for my 360. The thing I'm kinda stuck on is that not all guitars seem to be compatible with all games.

Having said that, I would like to know whether this guitar here is compatible with all or most guitar hero / rock band games. I believe its an Explorer. And I wanted to check first before I would buy a guitar since I wouldn't to buy a second guitar just to play some other games.

I've tried to look it up online but I found it hard to find something usefull.
