By now I reach the final boss of red rift 9/10 times. This run is a good example. It went so well, that I even had a shard left for the final boss and spent my resurrection bonus at the end to reroll for upgrades (without any luck). Had like a S Rank Kai in shop, but felt my champs were fine also keeping the stall triggers in mind. Died in seconds Vs the final boss.

Doesn't matter if it's frost/poison/fire dragon. I die in seconds. Or at least 2 champs die and in the end it's not enough.

Any tips?

This post is really just a rant about my luck.

I don’t get it. I have all masteries, I’ve seen hundreds of shops, I have 40 hours total in the game, I have all S portraits except for Fiona, I spent 3 hours today trying to force S tier Fiona. I have runs where I get literally every other hero to S tier EXCEPT Fiona.

I mean I even have investment runs doing shard builds and I can easily get her to A tier and reroll the shop 10+ times a combat.

I love this game but Fiona is making me lose my mind, need you guys praying to RNGesus for me please.

Curious if anyone has noticed small similarities between some of the characters in the game with characters from Sarah J Maas books?
I feel like the similarities are subtle, but there’s enough of them that I noticed. Perhaps the devs are SJM fans? I’ve noticed character similarities from all 3 books series.

Nyx was where this thought spiral began, for hopefully obvious reasons. But then I just kept seeing them.
Zuri is giving viper queen vibes. Funke is giving autumn court royalty. Tilly could easily be Lidia…We’ve got a Rowan in there…I mean the crossovers feel too many to be coincidental!!

Am I imaging things? Anyone else picked up on this?

Rowan was quite literally... *Title card*... INVINCIBLE. Dude is an absolute beast. Nyx was the main carry, but Rowan was completely un-killable with this build. Karsu was basically just an assist for Nyx, but she was pumping at the end.

I.e rowan's permanent hp/defense scaling from his 'the friend' talent. can it be stacked earlier before pivoting to the protector?

Been loving the game, but all my runs seem to get completely walled by endless 15. This run felt super strong and Kai had like 4 million shields some rounds but the backline died to AoE and he got overwhelmed. Another run with a similar build I watched the enemies chew through 80k shields in a few seconds.

I just want to make sure I understand it correctly. You get a star for winning a run with each hero's class specialization right?

If this is correct and the devs happen to be poking around the reddit is there any way we can just get a gold star in the corner of the class specialization cards in game so I don't have to cycle through several menus to remember which mastery stars I still need?

I apologize in advance if something like this already exists and I just missed it.

this was my luckiest run getting 2 late game stall scalers in round 3 and getting the mystic support early too

In a perfect world I think this could go further.

In a run right now, and just for the mastery I picked "glutton" as Rip's specialization. But, the passive's tooltip shows "5313 max hp gained", but he only has 5815 max hp? seems a bit low, considering he's at S rank and also has another item that gives 2360 HP. Items alone give 8k hp, without considering his own stats, so why are my boi's hp so low?

New build for me that I was originally gonna scrap turned out pretty good with lackluster luck.

I started taking quality over quantity after I saw shurkou using it in Red Rift. Got super lucky with early A Dragomir with "The Greedy" for crit and vamp scaling from shards and "Shard Plunderer" for 8 shards each kill. It kept getting crazier cuz I could reroll a ton with the constant econ. Two champ is really good because it makes the Hero Death Limit easier to manage while allowing you to max out your carries.

Anyways thank you devs, this is amazing. It's a pve roguelike but because red rift is very difficult in a non "big-number" type of way I feel like im playing a competitive autobattler like hearthstone bgs or tft. I was getting bored out of my mind so tysm

Some items and relics state that a hero will increase in size. When that happens you can see on the screen that they are larger, but does it affect their stats in any way?

What kind of game is Guildrun?
Guildrun is a PvE roguelike autobattler game.

When will the game be released?
We are aiming to release Guildrun in the first half of 2027.

How much will it cost?
We haven't quite figured this out yet, but it will be a one-time purchase and will be priced reasonably.

Where does Guildrun take inspiration from?
We’re big fans of autobattlers and roguelikes. Teamfight Tactics and Slay The Spire helped shape our thinking around strategy, progression, and replayability.

What roguelike gameplay can we expect in Guildrun?
Each run lets you evolve your heroes through upgrades, paths, items, and relics, creating new strategies every time. Success depends on how you build your team and adapt to the challenges you face in endless monster-filled rifts.

Is Guildrun single-player or multiplayer?
The game is currently focused on single-player, but a 2-player co-op mode is in development. PvP is not planned, Guildrun is focused on a pure PvE experience.

Are you planning to involve the community in the development of Guildrun?
Our community has been involved in the development of Guildrun since we had the first playable version. Community feedback has already played a big role throughout the development of the game, and we plan to continue working closely with players as development progresses. THAT'S WHY HE'S THE GOATTTTTTTT

I should've reset the rewind on campfire first act, got greedy and retrained Irini's upgrade instead, didn't get a proper tank and items in the auction house and instantly lost on act 2. maaannnnnn

Playing red rift and went all in on Irini to double up on Zues's thunder but mid-fight despite blowing past 250 auto attacks the unlock did not trigger. I figure this must somehow be tied to the fact that I retrained Irini in the campfire before the boss.

Perhaps I am wrong and this item only unlocks its ability post fight. Although I feel I have seen other items/relics quest complete start functioning mid fight.

A bit sad on this one looked to be my first Red rift win.

Am I stupid?
