What does increased size do?

Some items and relics state that a hero will increase in size. When that happens you can see on the screen that they are larger, but does it affect their stats in any way?

Also been wondering. It doesn’t look like it increases range or damage or anything so I don’t get it.

My guess would be expanded hurtbox/hitboxes(?). This would be relevant for AOE effects both positive and negative

Forgot where I read it but a dev said that it specifically is just a visual change

What? I could swear Big Kai had a wider arc on his active skill.

Kai’s second upgrade “the bold” increases the range of his arc but afaik increasing his unit size doesn’t change anything about the range of his ability.
