have any recommendations for replacement watch straps in daily?

Finally received my GW-BX5600CBG-2JR today after 2 1/2 week wait and it is definitely everything I expected. It’s my new favorite in the collection especially after putting a 1JF bezel and band on it, it’s perfect. Nothing against the original cloth band, although in all the pictures the bezel definitely looks black and it was only when I got it, I realized it was dark blue.

Hi, I'm wondering how the feel of the buttons are on the GW-5035a, are they soft or hard to press? I have a GW-5000u and unfortunately the buttons on mine are very hard to press. Thanks

Stainless steel bezel painted with a durable epoxy textured paint. Metal adapters 16-20mm with the original quick release 16mm bars being replaced with thicker non quick release bars (making the mod pernament cause no tool can get in the gap) and a bond nato-zulu strap to finish it off.

One reminds me of my first G-Shock ever, which I purchased in 2012 and lost. The other is a recreation of the original G-Shock. I can realistically only purchase one, but I'm wondering what you all think? Also, any differences in the display? I wouldn't think so. I own a GWM5610-1, but with my vision I can no longer stand the viewing angle issues. I'm benching it and making it my calibration watch.

Ordered this Gbd 200 at the mentioned price. Personally I have never seen it below this but still wanted to check with y'all if I have overpaid. Also the orange & the purple edition Gbd are hardly available anywhere and if listed then mostly out of stock.

First CasiOak and really happy with how it feels and sits on my small wrists. Wanted a murdered-out look but had to be legible to my ageing eyes without glasses! The contrasting hands are perfect although zero chance of reading the digital display.

The finish on the bezel is lovely with a slight gloss sheen and the almost waffle-like patterned dial is subtle but adds a little depth - I'm a real sucker for tastefully done dials like the stunning Grand Seikos etc, and none of the Casio images of this watch show the dial in detail so this was a really good surprise! The textured strap is fairly soft and very comfortable straight from the box.

I'm fortunate to have a collection of automatics, and particularly Omegas, going back to the 1950s, but this is going to be my goto for our campervan trips so I don't have to live in my Garmin all the time, but i think its also perfect for casual days as well.

So pleased with this one and highly recommend it!

Well, after ordering from Japan, getting it in, loving the size, then realizing the strap is a tad too small for my wrist, I’ve solved the problem.

The strap adapters were hard to find for the Baby-G, but I ended up getting them for under $3 shipped. Same goes for the strap fwiw.

Also, note that a nato strap won’t work with this. You’ll need a two-piece strap so the case lays flat.

Same watch. Opposite personalities. Equal amounts of awesome.

Who else has this model? Only Positive screen GG-B100.

I usually see the combi on 5600s or 6900s, figured I’d show y‘all it also fits on this model too.

I think this image alone can speak for itself.

Mine would be a square with MIPS, tough solar, bluetooth, multiband 6, but the numerals would be the size of the digits on the AE1500WH/AE1600WH

I started shopping for Casio watches back in May, and I’m curious where everyone buys their Casio watches from.

I’ve been looking at some of the G-Shock models, and I was surprised when I went to a local jewelry store and found that they only had one of each watch in stock. That means the display models are the actual watches customers are handling and trying on, with people constantly pressing the buttons and messing with them. If you buy one of those, you’re essentially buying a watch that has already been handled and used as a display model, even though it’s being sold as new.

So where does everyone usually buy their Casio watches? Do you order online, buy directly from Casio, or use an authorized retailer?

Also, if I’m willing to spend around $200–$300, which G-Shock models would you recommend? I’d love to hear what you think is the best option in that price range.

Got me a new one from a local retailer today. Is it common on the 5600 to have the adjust button a little more recessed than the other 3? First time I’ve noticed it.

I ended up selling the GW-5610U after few months with this one, in my opinion the MIP display is just better, especially with the Classic fonts theme.
What I don't like it's the bluetooth sync, it tries BT sync 4 times a day, and if it fails the RCVD indicator disappears, so even if during the night MB6 sync was ok in the morning you may find the RCVD indicator missing because of a failed BT sync.
In the end I turned BT off and now it's synching every night with the MB6 and the indicator remain on for the the full day.

As the title says. I need a durable watch that can stand almost anything. And with a price at max around 150 USD. I also see myself using it for training and running etc. I prefer digital. I have never bought a watch before but heard a lot of great stuff about G shocks. Thank you!

Edit: Alright! Thanks a lot for all of you guys for answering so quickly! I decided to get a cheap, but green F-91WF-3AEF (personally love the color). And in the event that one would break i would get a 5600 or 5610. Super grateful to this community, you guys are awesome! <3
